    That was very cool, every time you get in that water I relive the time you almost stepped on the big gator and the panther at the end was the icing on the cake 👍👍👍

    Another awesome trail camera pickup video! Walking through that gator infested water takes big kahunas! Your orchid photos and videos are excellent. Thankyou for sharing your treks through the Everglades. I do love the wild orchids. We have wild orchids in British Columbia too but very different. We have been having wild weather here . They call them Bomb cyclones. Tearing up everything with hurricane force winds. Keep up the videos. I’m 82 and enjoy them very much.

Thanks for hanging in there. I know going thru all that water & jungle like trails must be challenging. Hats off to u !! I Love watching yr videos ! 🙋🏼‍♀️

    Hey Tim. You outdid yourself on this video. Exceptionally well done. Loved the orchids. Gorgeous! Loved all the birds and wild life! I wonder what it is about the camera that the bears like to go after. Hmmmm. I tell ya, I was holding my breath as you were walking through all that water. I was so afraid we'd see another gator pop up and I didn't want that to happen. You must have nerves of steel. In case we don't see you before Thanksgiving, wishing you a good one. I'll be thinking about you at the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park where you have your Dinner. Thank you for all you do. Stay safe. Stay Healthy. xo

    😊 thanks for posting them.
    It's so cool that when you posted the hawk and the owl videos, I could hear woodpecker(s) in the background. I get the red bellied woodpeckers here in PA too and recognize their calls.

    Question for you. I was navigating the Loop Road several years back when I saw, in a tree, what looked like a Fisher. Being 500 miles to far south, my question is, have you ever seen a mink fifteen feet up in a tree?

    Hi Tim, I have2 questions. First is do you wear any snake leggings or do you just wade in jeans and shoes? Don’t you see many cottonmouths? Actually one more question. Have you ever walked up on a bear in there? Thanks for your videos I always enjoy them.

    • @ShrikeZone
      @ShrikeZone  16 дней назад

      I've had a few awesome bear encounters in there. They usually just look at me and walk away. I've never had a problem with them. I wear hiking pants made out of ripstop nylon and hiking sneakers. You need to stay as light as possible otherwise you'd never make it through the water and the ferns. I do see a bunch of cottonmouths but I've never had a problem with them either.
