Just discovered LTL pistols and new to your channel. Living in California I'm always worried about anything firearm-related. I would like something that has fewer consequences than a firearm. In your experience what would be a good pistol to use for CCW. I'd actually prefer it to have colored components i.e. orange, blue, and red.
Man I'm bummed you guys moved out of Gilroy to LA. I miss walking in to the store lol. Though I just got this thing, and as a CA resident, I really like this and seems to be a solid choice so far. Without using lethal force.
I just bought one of these as an "open box" item on eBay. My ammo follower just slides back-and-forth and lets ammo fall out. Are you able to tell me if you see a spring behind the ammo follower through the ammo hole?

If your between the double barrel shotty and the .50 Revolver... defiantly get the HDR50. Its Way more versatile in ammo options as well as shot capacity & price. I also love the HDP T4E .50 cal. With the riot rubber balls its an awesome carry option over a taser or pepper spray cans.
@@SmithWesson90 Don't disregard pepper spray or contact stun devices. If the perp doesn't get the message after being hit by kinetic or chem rounds, a blast of spray, a high voltage shock, or even a blade are good backups.
Hi. How can one modify this pistol to be a bit more lethal/powerful? I have taken a few shots with it and it didn’t really convince me that it could save me out of a deadly situation. Can’t wait for your urgent response
This may be a poor choice, its pushing similar velocities and energy to paintball markers. Which have not in the past changed my life decisions. Not that the specialty ammo doesnt look scary.
Unload 5 or 6 to the head and neck of an attacker that's not dressed like a paintballer, Not wearing a paintball mask and at most has a hoodie..with the Rubber/Steel .50cal riot balls. They will stop. This is not a paintball gun.. at 375fps and solid rubber/steel rounds. Its better than using a hand taser.
Theres a version of it that comes in all black, but for some reason it's way rarer and more expensive. Or just spray painting the slide black is an option.
I purchased a PepperBall PCR. It worked for a day then blew something on the inside. Now it just leaks co2 in it and it won’t shoot. Paid over 300 bucks plus another 50 for the holster then ammo coming to about 500 bucks and it didn’t last a week. I just ordered this one but I’m not expecting this not to crap out in a couple of months. With that said my 425 dollar SAR 9 9mm handgun has never had a problem. You can’t replace a real gun with something that runs off air but my guns for home defense something like this is so I can have something in public. I wish these things could hold up like a real gun because they hey have practical uses but I can’t trust them to work when needed unlike my real gun.
Guns jam and even explode sometimes when used. Guns aren’t 100% either. If you use a real gun and shoot someone or kill them, you better hope you don’t get the crap sued out of you!
Why can't you carry your pistol in public? Concealed carry permit is $17 where i live.Well now that it's 2023 we no longer need a permit to carry concealed.I keep my permit up to date though in case i travel out of state.A lot of states allow open carry also.
Yeah I don't like the orange color either. It makes the gun look like a toy, which in turn would make a home invader think the same. But a little flat black spray paint fixes that.
Also make sure your barell is lubed ever so often bud. I would not ever use this for home defense but for a nonlethal or carry in 3.07 places but i live in the greatest country...TEXAS
No. Why would you want to lower the FPS ? If anything I'd want it higher. Too low and the pepperball might not explode when you shoot it at the intruder and then you better start running cause it'll just piss him off lol. ;)

The BYRNA HD is real good for launching pepper balls.

It's a less lethal weapon. You dont want to portray it as a real weapon..so that's why their is a orange slide
I'm thinking of buying it anyway and just spray painting it all black. All my BB Gun Replicas are solid black so why not this one too ? :)

Try squirting some silicone spray into the handle on each loading of gas. Could be dry seals ?

It may be a federal mandate that air guns made to look like the real thing must have orange on it; be it the muzzle, barrel, etc.
I had problems with mine jamming
they really could of and should of made that with a removable mag and made it hold 8 or 10 and the bump nob could be on the mag

It packs a good wallop and you can get 20 or so rounds between changing canisters.

You can use steel balls but lighter 2.8 gram solid aluminum balls work better.
