And then continued to play as her through the series because she knew who Balder was and had gone through the events of the first game. ... Time travel and alternate universes are tricky...
i loved bayo 3 as a game, but i still wish the story had more clarity. there's supposedly gonna be a 4th game to clear things up like bayo 2 did for bayo 1, but we'll see if that game ever happens. I hope it does because i love bayo

After watching the lost demon, I could Image how very different the result was. If Cheshire came to help her, even the result was almost the same as Luka came to aid, at last, it would be fun watching Singularity get beat up by a literary a possed stuffed animal that can control four element
I was really expecting Cheshire to start beating the shit out of him when Singularity stopped to monologue. Just… Viola drops the sword, Singularity opens his goddamn mouth, then Cheshire literally bites his head off.
If u ask me, this fight should have ended with Viola finishing off Singularity, maybe with Luka's help as well. After that, either Viola and Luka takes the final climax in their faerie forms or Bayonetta would have the strength recovered to summon (ANYONE BUT GOMORRAH) to Climax the fight. Bayonetta would then mostly been out cold from exhaustion while Rodin repairs her Umbran Heart. the last fight with Dark Arch-Eve wouldnt have been necessary then unless that really is a dead Bayonetta from another Universe, the one that was able to Summon her bonded contract with the Kraken, and Im willing to understand that much but the fact that she looks like Bayo 3 is off putting as well. but whatever

I think people just hated the plot and how bayo 3 kinda ruined the consistency of the story of the past two games, but in terms of gameplay I can't deny that bayo 3 was the best.

Bayonetta games are supposed to be hype and blood-pumping with a character that's a walking power fantasy, and what the game offered narratively was : "You see that character you really like ? Well she fucking sucks. She can't save anyone, forgets about Witch Time in cutscenes, and she FUCKING DIES at the end of the game. And also what makes her struggle that much is just a bald guy in a bathtub."
This whole chapter reveals just how dumb the characters needed to be to make this stupid plot happen. Viola doesn't use her faerie form, singularity should have died on the moon with hundreds of bayonettas ganging up on him, this plot is just so contrived
The biggest hole in the whole game is not knowing why Singularity wanted to take over the multiverse in the first place. This game is so unclear. Hope that for the 4th installation, they can draw back to the main reason for that main antagonist just like what they did for Bayonetta 2

I very much agree with this. The concepts, battle system, and even the new summon system were great additions but this game was just terribly executed. The 7.5 rating is where I would put it as well. If it weren’t for the Baal Zebul battle I would have put this game at like a 4.5 or a 5 out of ten.

The ending was meh, it could’ve been much better if Luka (strider), Viola (in her awakening form), and Bayonetta (summoning Shiba as a cameo) all together unleashing the final climax together, before Bayonetta (arch-Eve origin) and Luka (arch-Adam) head back to inferno, and letting Viola carry her legacy
Singularity doesn't have a soul as far as I'm concerned and Bayonetta was literally dying so she wouldn't have been thinking of summoning sheba again because 1. She ain't powerful enough to summon sheba plus she needed the help of another umbran like jeanne to summom her before, 2. Jeanne is already dead 3. Viola wouldn't been able to help Bayonetta because she's still an umbran witch in training so viola wouldn't have been much help either Thus doing the dance and chant thing to summon sheba would only give singularity a bit of time to recover, so i don't see the point in wasting time to summon sheba again just to defeat singularity in his point of weakness Also viola might have been out of energy to even stab herself to transform into her awakening form but it's just a hunch. And yes she could've summoned madama butterfly instead of gomorrah since she can also do the kamehameha thing but I'd like to think that madama butterfly can only do the Kamehameha thing in her deadly sin form I also heard from one comment from another vid saying that gomorra's breath may have disintegrating abilities so that's why she summoned gomorrah instead

But the fatal flaw of that feedback would be that jeane was already dead. If bayonetta did do enough damage to the balance version of singularity, then that’s enough to release all of the arch-Eves that he absorbed
