@Demetrius Kayden first of all, that's not a normal relationship, that's abusive! Second, I'll report you for spamming and third, you should really repent of your life !

Thank you, Dr. Meeker, for giving Dads the confidence boost to protect and love their daughters and families, especially in today’s culture that demonises dads.

12:40 is an awesome suggestion. And validation to engage in setting a "standard." Also love 22:56 the dad saying he needs his hug, and the idea that we parents need to define the relationship.

Just a few more advice from a daughter. Wanna have a good relationship with a daughter? Respect her mother. Love her mother. You will hurt the little girl so much showing her that a woman is someone not worth your respect. The closest woman especially. She would think that your behaviour tlwards yoir wife is the true standard. And this is the standard she would look for in her marriage- she would seek the husband who would treat her as good as the you treat your wife. And if you do not grow to be the good husband, dont expect your daughter to date or marry someone better- believe me,she won't be able to defend herself from boy not respecting her (werbally or phhysically or usually both) if you dis not respect your wife.

So true. My daughters have married (or been in relationships) with guys just like their dad. I wish I would have advocated for my daughters more fiercely. But then again, I married a guy very similar to my dad’s negative qualities. Oh yeah. It repeats itself from generation to generation, until someone can break the cycle. But how do you break the cycle when you don’t know you’re in one?!!

It was a brilliant insight when Jim Daley said "A father's love has a wild-card factor to it." The mother's love is more 'predictable.' God designed men as the family head, so it makes sense that the father's words carry a different less 'predictable' weight. Truly a Miraculous design made to foster order with persistent kindness AND conviction.

Thank you for mentioning the importance of dad's and how moms many times mess up thier daughters! Moms also need to warn thier sons about girls. I can hear feminists having panic attacks listening to this wonderful woman!
I have always told young people how to pick a mate.
    1. Love your babies before they are ever born.
    2. Your spouse should have all the qualities you want to pass on to your children.
Get married before you order babies!
    Know the commandments for marriage!
    1. Men love your wives!(really show your wife real love)
    2. Wives submit(respect) to your husbands.
You will destroy your marriage and family if you don't do this.
    Why?
    Women need real love!
    Men need respect!
I wish I could tell every young kid before they grow up.

Good afternoon all, the things that were spoken about on this video was really good and I appreciate it all very much, so thank you! However, I am going to have to disagree on one thing said multiple times in the video... Mothers don't have to love, I know this because my mother doesn't love me. People have said well, yes your mother loves you, you just don't understand her or she doesn't know how to show it. My mother supported her children financially when we were very young, but my mother was jealous of me and didn't want me to achieve greater than her. Even though my mother never was a biblical mother(a mom), I have attempted to continue trying to have something to do with her. When I found my wonderful husband, she was completely jealous of my happiness and cut off all contact. She abandoned me and shunned me completely for 10+ years now. I send things for her for birthdays, write her, email her, etc. I have only been able to email for about a year now, because she refused to speak to me, so I didn't have her phone number. Because of my families lack of love, my husband and I decided to move across the state to start over. She hasn't even met our last born son, only saw our other son when he was born. My husband and I went and saw her one year. I mustard up the courage to speak with her, and she wouldn't even speak. I placed my hand on her stomach and asked how she could carry me in her womb for 9+ months and have no feelings for me or her grandbabies(5 of them, 3girls and 2 boys). She hit my hand off her stomach and said, "don't ever touch me." There are mothers who don't love their children and it is every bit as hurtful as a father not loving them. I know this because my Dad has something to do with me, but barely. We speak when I call, he comes to see us maybe once a year and does send birthday cards. I love both of my parents regardless of their lack of interest in us, and still do my part of everything, which includes constant prayer. Thanks again for the video! Joshua and Stephanie

The only thing that you can do is pray for her from a distance and do everything you can to protect your kids from her toxicity. Hopefully one day she'll be healed enough to tell her story.

Think these people never been exposed to a verbally abusive mother - it’s reality for many family scapegoated children to be Belittled or shamed or blame already killed or not or neglected or abused or bullied or passive aggressively ostracised by a narcissistic mother perhaps as much as 50% of the population does this type of passive aggressive mothering type of behaviour I’m surprised that completely oblivious and see mothers as an all loving or caring 100% population

This is totally ridiculous and unrealistic. And will leave father's and daughters feeling as tho they are failing each other, when if fact this lady is trying to sell you garbage and take your money. This is not reality or even close, father's daughters and all family can get frustrated and argue and say things they don't mean that don't have to mean anything. Almost 90% of families don't live in this bs utopia, because it's not normal. It's normal to have differences of opinion arguments and fights and then still look out for each other, because your family
    This lady says total BS
