Struggled to beat Columbia and beat Sweden with England's best player being the goal keeper. England run out of steam and ideas in the second half of games and revert to what they know best, long balls up the pitch. In the second half Croatia exerted dominance and footballing know how. Should have scored a couple more which they deserved to make the score 4-1. Sad to say that this is the pattern for all tournaments that England qualify for. Ridicule your opponents using the media and then get exposed for the second rate side they are. Happy that football isn't "coming home" but come Sunday, will belong to a team that deserves it. The only reason they got this far was due to the very generous draw, one which they'll probably never get again. Well said. Kind of sum things up nicely. England fans and media raving that the team beat two of the poorer sides in the tournament (only managed to beat Tunisia by a very late goal). Struggled to beat Columbia and beat Sweden with England's best player being the goal keeper. England run out of steam and ideas in the second half of games and revert to what they know best, long balls up the pitch. In the second half Croatia exerted dominance and footballing know how. Should have scored a couple more which they deserved to make the score 4-1.
Sad to say that this is the pattern for all tournaments that England qualify for. Ridicule your opponents using the media and then get exposed for the second rate side they are. Happy that football isn't "coming home" but come Sunday, will belong to a team that deserves it. Peace!!
