I think for a demo with a 5 string there should be a demo where the bassist just really whacks on some open and first fret stupidity so you really get a handle on if the low B farts out or not.
I have an NS 5 with the Fishman pickups and there is nothing on the planet like the sound. I love it. There are a few drawbacks, however: it eats through 9V batteries like Pac-Man. I've had to change the battery at least 2-3 times in the last year. I don't know if the new pickups fix that problem at all, but to anyone buying these instruments, something to think about.
Thanks also for the nice detail shots of the instruments. I only now realized there's a stacked knob. I always get a bit grumpy when 2K€ active bass guitars don't have a mid-EQ ;)
@@basstheworldofficial That's totally fine :) And I didn't meant it that way. As you say, it's a matter of taste. *If* my bass is active, *I* want it to have a mid-EQ, especially if I put (für meine Verhältnisse) a lot of money into it
Im sorry. but the attention to details here are low. This ugly retainer on the , cheap looking individual bridges, cheap plastc with screws without easy access. Just not the way a Spector bass should look.
I would love to have an NS-2 or an Eurobolt. These wouldn’t be bad but I think it sounds too Darkglass. Everybody sounds like Datkglass now.
It's an eq, just set it differently.
Yeah, i'm tired of hearing 'Darkglass' and 'metal'. I've been into metal since the mid-80s, but I've never liked the Darkglass sound.
It's the youtuber sound. "That sounds like a youtuber".

There's a reason they don't show you that lol.
Ian Allison does a demo of these basses where he does just that.
How do they compare to the fishman version?

Well then you'll be surprised to find out there's no treble control. You have bass, low mids, and high mids.
@@jacobdomangue7088 I know how the Darkglass Tone Capsule works ;) The point is 2-Band vs 3-Band on expensive instruments
3-band isn’t more high end. Many players prefer simplicity over options. It’s a matter of taste

Those were a killer intro licks!
hows the balance on their MS models ?
0:53 is that Beyond This Life I hear?
Nice basses!
I’m glad you checked it out.
Que bajo tan hermoso😍, gracias por los vídeos 👏

We need to see Gregor play a bass on camera for once

These would be very nice with Fishman Fluance pickups. I just don't like Darkglass or humbuckers.
They do have the original dimension series with Fishman pickups.
@@Facu_Roldan ooh! That's more like it.
Neck dive on a 4 one?
❤❤❤ Gregor you are 🔝🫶🏻👍
