I really enjoyed this unscripted format, not that I don’t enjoy the other videos as well. Please do more like this one from time to time. You got me wanting a Sandberg bass now.
I really love the "Modern jazz bass" Shape of the newer Sandbergs - I love Jazz basses and am a big fan of the vibe of offset guitars in general, but the large Butt on the Jazz Bass makes it more awkward to play in more cramped spaces, I found. This did a really good job of keeping the same "vibe" while seeming less unwieldy.
I can tell you are passionate about that Sandberg. When you find something you love, hold on to it. Florian is an amazing player. You always have the best players Gregor! Bass!
I love my three Sandbergs. Being a P bass guy, I love the new body shape. Huge convert to short scales these days, my Lionel is absolutely my favorite gigging bass these days. I have a super light short scale custom PJ fretless that is pretty awesome too. I keep saying that Sandbergs are everything a Fender wants to be.
The zero fret should be filed well also, and that is much harder to make it nice , and it's not done in the Sandberg factory also in my experience@@martinheath5947
Love Kloppmann pickups in my basses! Will try Sandberg basses whenever the occasion throws itself at us… I have more than enough basses, sometimes in need for parts or pickups. Saving cash to replace my Fender J pickups with Kloppmann pickups now…
i just don't get why people shell out big $$$ for those 7enders when there's sandberg. to me the most beautiful basses there is and hopefully i'll own one of those one day.
Relic jobs are not only a gimmick for the looks, but for the feel. Sandberg does a great job to give you a worn in feeling of the neck, body and hardware with their relics. I never liked relics until I run into a relic Sandberg - it fitted like my favorite old sneakers. Had to buy it. I don't care for the looks, bassists who go for looks will buy a Thunderbird and hate to play it.
For anyone wondering its kloppmann pickups.
They rule!

Always enjoy listening to your unscripted videos. Your enthusiasm for bass keeps the video flowing and entertaining!!
Very good your candid review was entertaining and informational! Danke scheoen!
Thank you. This is my Go-To bass channel.
I like the new series. Florian can play! Looking forward to the next episode.

I personally prefer the old Sandberg shape but i can't disagree with your reasoning
I second that, the California 2 TT shape is way more comfortable than the classic offset Jazz Bass.
That black ash model sounds fantastic!

I think that bass is cool ! Something about it ! Black sandblasted with white pickups. Very cool.
I like this format, and Florian's playing too. Thanks Gregor.
Freue mich auf den 5 Saiter. Der wird gekauft!

Superb Build Quality too Gregor
That's fantastic!!!!
First one is so cool, perfect look
Love from Sweden Gregor. Love your videos!!!🥰
love it, especially the superlight series, just not a big fan of zero frets
Why on earth not? Every bass I ever bought needed the nut slots cut deeper, even expensive ones.

Very nice ! I have to get a Sandberg 🙂
Pure beef 🍖
Love them basses 🔥❤️
Thank you very much!… when will we see Gregor play one bass?

Each version is nice but OG has the special "magic"
are they noiseless in the studio? I've had bad experiences with single coils...
Please keep the 5 string 34 scale . My Ida 5 is 34’ scale and the low B is like thunder yet crystal clear!!
Please tell us the strings used on the sound examples.

Lovely bass! Maybe some day… 🎉. What strings do you use?
Dunlop Marcus Miller SuperBrights
Please test the Sadowsky MJ Metroline. It truly captures the best of J bass and Stingray. Ask your friend Lars!
I wish these basses were distributed in the US.
They are
@ I live in NYC , and have yet to see one in a guitar store.
I'll take an orange one
...that's why I never even considered buying a Sandberg: they are so slow to adapt... 11 years?! are you kidding.?
wenn es denn als shortscale gäbe ... ❤
Gimme
Will these be available in the US?
They are!
Been following Flo for many years. An amazing player!
Dude. You’re speaking so fast. Try some de-caf

If it only came with an extra string ☹️
String one with BEAD strings. Bass players should be playing the bass notes 👍
we're working on a 5-string
@@basstheworldofficial If that happens I'll sell my car to buy one.
Ready for the 5 string Bass The World Bass🙌🏼🙏🏼
👍🙏🖤🧡🙏👍
Why did Sandberg change the body shape? I will never buy a Sandberg with the ”newer” shape, cuz it don’t look good, at all. Your no.1 is very sweet !!
I've been thinking the same thing. They were so much sweeter ten years or so ago with the old shape.
The old shapes were 1:1 Fender copies of the Precision and Jazz Bass.
I'm not sure what is worse. The fake patina finish on cars or the fake relic relic finish on guitars.

It's one thing to have an accent, but this is too much. I'm german and I can hardly understand what you're saying.
I'm Swedish and have no problems 🤷♂️
He’s perfectly clear. What are you talking about?
I'm Englisch and I can understand every word, though when I'm in Germany I'm also accused of speaking too fast!!
