    What was your favourite part about Iwakuni? What ice cream flavour would you try?

    • @TheWorldnUs
      @TheWorldnUs 5 лет назад +1

      I would have probably tried the wasabi flavour too. I don’t think I’d like it but where else are you going to get to try wasabi ice cream?
      We tried a corn flavoured ice cream at a place near My Fuji. Didn’t like it. But you still gotta try these things when you get the chance.

      Good man! Sweetcorn ice cream is a thing in Singapore too. Get them on the street in a slice of bread from one of the ice cream uncles. 😁

      I was wondering what the bacteria thingy flavor was 😂

    • @linnyunt
      @linnyunt  5 лет назад

      I had to look it up. It's one of the good bacteria that's present in many foods like yoghurt and kimchi. Full of vitamins, helps fight off disease and digest dietary fibre.

    I miss Iwakuni so much. I was stationed there with my family from 2002 - 2004 when I was about 6 years old. Some of my clearest memories there was visiting the chicken shack, class trips off base, and shopping at the 100 yen store. Next time I'm in Japan, I just want to spend a solid week exploring everything I can in Iwakuni.

    As a ten year old in the early 60’s, Kintai castle and bridge, especially during spring when cherry blossoms bloomed, it was magical. I loved every minute. Matthew C Perry was so small. The graduating senior class had only 4 students. The teen club, my classroom,and the snack bar were in a single building. The Sakura theater was free and a Baby Ruth was 10 cents. The townspeople were kind and celebrated Children’s Day. I don’t know of any other country that celebrates children. I hope Japan still does. What a wonderful place it was.

    My family lived in Iwakuni when I was a kid for 4 to 5 years. The Kintai was one of the most beautiful places we ever visited! When we lived there, they had cow tongue ice cream. 🤮

    Hello can i use my drone in iwakuni bridge area without permission.

      At that time the DJI fly safe map allowed it within the area I flew. I'm not sure now. The rules and zone might have changed since then so please check.

    • @linnyunt

      Well Okinawa is far from the rest of Japan in general. But there are some beaches around Iwakuni and the inland sea. It's really pretty. I even shot some drone footage there but didn't use it in the video. It didn't fit the rest of the video.
