- The Polycraft 300 Tuffy is out on the water fishing for mixed species over rough ground. Sea angling on a boat provides people with awesome sport and in this video we also get to see some incredible Dolphins Of The Sea. We are fishing with @KayakandBoatFishingUk

Great seeing the Tuffy doing its stuff, is it fine with the Tohatsu?, any cavitation with the short-shaft setup??.
Cheers! They are wonderful creatures. The 9.8HP was absolutely fine. But with 2 adults it was a tad slower than I like so went for a more powerful engine. Short shaft hasn’t caused me any issues at all so far and the boat is built for short shaft engines

Great Trip! Do you find the hatches leak? "not water tight!"
Yes the hatches are not fully water tight if you get loads water over them, but generally they are fine. I might try a gasket over them

what hours are you fishing? do you always go when it's high tide and come back before low tide ?
It completely varies. I will go out whenever I feel like it. Both flood and ebb tides can produce. So I try and get as much time on the water as possible
Don’t catch anything sitting at home, good effort and worth it to land a dory
Cheers mate, always better than nothing. Some days just make you work harder
