Hi Wayne! I hope you get to read this comment! I've been playing mandolin for about 16 years. I took what musical knowledge I had from guitar and banjo and tried to apply it to mandolin. I spent a lot of time learning tons of fiddle tunes. It worked well for jam sessions but I felt I was missing my real expressiveness with the instrument. I found your channel a few months ago and decided to actually learn things I thought I knew 😅 I've really blossomed and came out of my box since spending half an hour with you a day! I was in that rutt of everything I played sounded the same no matter what key I was in. I'm getting some nice ideas and feel more confident! I really appreciate the videos, easy too follow strait to the point! I plan on learning as much as possible from you!

Hands down, Wayne, this is one of the MOST helpful Mandolin practice videos I have found yet! Thank you so much for the excellent homegrown veggies!

After reading a few comments here I agree that your channel is what I’ve been looking for.
After learning a few songs that are just the main melody but not a complete tune I’m ready now to really learn how to play my Mandolin! Thanks for your truly helpful advice 😊

Thx Charles. WWoM definitely gives me the chance to do more music that's outside of the bluegrass box. I love teaching in the swing and blues direction too....

Wow Wayne thanks so much. I've always wanted to know how to do that dancing around the fretboard. I've heard others do that and thought that is so cool sounding. Now I know how to do it with your help. So much more interesting that scales.

Hey Robert, thx for the comment. I played with the Bluechip teardrop 40 for many years then changed my pickhold and went to the TAD 50 Bluechip. Check out that Mandolin Pickhold video here on the channel for more on this topic.....good luck
