  • There are many challenges in the world these days, from racial inequity to loneliness to political tension to the environmental crisis. All of these challenges can stir a range of difficult emotions, such as anxiety, grief, and anger - and all of these emotions are okay. It is okay to feel how you feel.
    Sean Fargo and Sharon Salzberg discuss this notion that feelings like anger, jealousy, and fear are not ‘bad’; they are simply states of suffering. Feeling these emotions is different than becoming overpowered by them, which is a differentiation we can explore through mindful presence.
