Lovely - thank you! How many of us are attempting omelettes à la the Sublime Sydney? I too, love these areas of total calm amidst the Dark & Stormy:
Speaking of calm…the ‘Ticket machine scene’ was filmed with one camera, in one (that’s one single) take…stressful? You bet! & can you imagine the hours of rehearsal that took? Did someone say “Stephen Bochko”?
There’s a moment where Fek walks through the kitchen, into the shop, round the counter, & back into the kitchen: no lines, so I think that’s a cue/marker for something else to happen…
Er…the sauce with the tomatoes isn’t ‘Bolognese’, there’s no meat…
Actually, ‘Bolognese’ is an episode in S2 - who spotted the blink-of-an-eye fragment of Sydney’s backstory?
I enjoyed your commentary, & hope you don’t mind my suggestions…
What you said about Love - I think especially about Richie, learning self-respect through showing compassion towards others - I loved that! & Livvy Colman straighting him out - never too late to start over!
    Thanks again for sharing ❤

Thanks for the feedback! There’s a nice organic feel to the show and has many nice life lessons. One take shots in movies/tv arr always really cool. Another favourite scene is where sid makes that rib meal for that customer. So many good scenes in the show!
