How to prep for your first White House Tour

I've been in the DMV for more than a decade, but this was my first visit inside the White House. Yikes! Here's your reminder to play tourist in your backyard.
This specific tour was self-guided and it lasted about 30 minutes.
We waited about two months to get the tickets, after completing several forms as requested.
