I have had take ins twice and loved them. I have had 40 to 50 pcs. I only needed 40 the first time as my hair was shoulder length and 50 for a swing Bob.

Tape Hair Extensions normally come with tape attached but if you need to move them up (maintenance) then you will need to buy the tapes seperately

If you have very fine and thin hair, should you make the sections between the tape a little thicker? I'm worried about them putting too much strain on my thin hair and causing breakage.

This concept of shorter widths gives, gives more versatility and option placements, Also, it's less weight on the hair. So, in instances where a client may have fine hair, you wont risk any hair loss as the weft would be much lighter and covers a smaller area. Hey Heather, they will stick. Your not sticking them to your scalp, they need to be stuck to eachother and not to close to the scalp.
If your hair isnt naturally straight should you get it permanently straightened before getting straight extensions?
That would damage your hair, what i do for my extensions is i wash and braid them, makes them look a lot more natural, unless you have super super curly hair, then i would consider that.

They make wavey and curly extentions! No reason to chemically straighten your hair. I have naturally curly hair so when I get extentions I get wavey ones and if I want everything to be straight, i straighten it myself. When I wash them, they go back to being curly like my hair:]

Firdaus xox I would remove them all, wash hair, then reapply. If taken care of properly, tape extensions are amazing. My hair was ruined after years of fusion- tape helped me grow it back.

there are better methods for you, this isnt really ideal anyway dont worry about it
+ImTotallySummer thats totally incorrect. tape in extensions can be used with curly hair no problem. Just get ones that match as closely as possible to your natural hairs texture/curl pattern. The only reason they always install on straight hair, is because the actual install needs to be done with hair staightened. after that wait 48 hours then you can wash and style as you normally do.
technically you aren't to spray your whole head with the nail remover. tis why you put it In a spray bottle. and spray onto of the tape in. and the tape is are made of keratin glue with makes it better for your hair then getting per say. beaded extensions and less painful then a sow in.

I loved this tutorial, and was very excited to order, but was very disappointed to find out (at least, from what the Perfect Hair website shows), that you cannot purchase this product as a consumer, only as a professional stylist. This is very disappointing considering it is exactly the colors and everything I have been looking for. also, it seems misleading to do a "how-to" video when the person cannot actually buy the product. :( If I am wrong and it is available for sale online (I live in the US) - please let me know! I have tried several different types of hairextentions. all of them damaged my hair expecially micro bead ones.i have tape in for year and a half and my hair is not damaged at all and they have some product to release the tape bond so removing them is as fast as putting in.btw I never go to hairdresser I put them in and out myself.

at www.rapunzelofsweden.no There have hight quality extensions. They last very long. I had my clip in in 3 years. Now i just started use type on extensions and they also are beautiful. They have videos there you can see how to instal them. I instal my own myself.

You have to be out of your mind if you think I'm going to put nail polish remover on or in my hair. Do not put fingernail polish remover in your hair it's not that serious to have extentions.
You're a bit dramatic nail polish remover is made for nails which are made from keratin the same thing as your hair....
you can purchase weft release products tape extentions just slip off and they are oily base and not damaging your hair at all
have you ever read the ingredients in remover? it's literally the same ingredients. acetone and water
+apiphany schubert mine is based on oil and most of times I use baby oil from my kids and put some bit of water in a spray bottle and works like a charm.I'm very delicate about things that I do to my hair.3 times I use coconut oil too and it's bit of a process since I have to melt it first but coconut oil is great for hair and defently not damaging.. I would never put my hair in danger and I avoid weft release which is based on alcohol bc oil works so much better
