Tim is one of the most underrated songwriters of all time. Absolutely unreal talent.
I think it can be argued that Tim is the greatest punk songwriter of all time.

Branden do back up vocals,branden can sing too while blasting his drum kit. Thats what I like about him when he was still with The Used. Bret is good but Branden is more technical than him,glad he joined Rancid.

I actually think his voice matches Tim's unique voice so well, the band is genius for so many reasons. Do not forget Matt Freeman is a genius too, he probably the one that said Hire Lars, because it helps my boy Tim so well.

Nah, I've been a punk for 40 years now and Op Ivy is one of my all time favorite punk bands but Rancid has always bored me, I've been binging thru all their albums to see if I missed anything good since I stopped paying attention to them 30 years ago and there's only been a few songs so far that I didn't get bored with and give up on before they were done, Rancid's just mid at best

Great song, however the “fork tailed devil” which is the p38 lightning was not at coral sea. Additionally dauntless didn’t make the fork tailed p38 Lockheed did.

“Fork tailed devil” is a nickname for p38 but they’re referencing a dauntless. It’s a misnomer on their part. The p-38 wasn’t used in battle of coral sea.

Tim Armstrong looks totally different I'm glad he seems to be sober but definitely lost his looks
The beard is awful, but he seems committed to it (it's even longer now). He lost his hair a long time ago, so not much to be done about that. Otherwise, he looks pretty much like a 52-year-old man with some hard years on him, which is just what he is.
@@kevinconnor6035 I actually trip on how people have such a problem with his beard, yeah we all like his kid videos, but grizzly Adams was always cool too. I think people creating problems where there is no problems, I mean if you bitching about his beard then Tim as always doing it well.
@@louroche7581 I really don't have "such a problem" with his beard. I think it looks terrible, but I don't particularly care about it. It's not like it makes me enjoy the band any less. He can do whatever he wants with his looks. Makes no difference to me.
