    Yes taxi on corners for beginner pilots at 8 kts GS is better than making them turn to much faster. Gives them a better chance to keep on the yellow line and not put too much stress on the breaks. Great video guys!! Keep them coming 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    HELLO! No way no how are you gonna or should you taxi a Rotax powered aircraft at 8 knots, below 2000 rpm. Am I wrong on this? Take off the BOSE and you’ll hear those gears slappin. Just sayin!

      Mike, I have a SLING 2, it is prescribed that one keep the RMP at or above 2000. This ensures smoother operation of the gearbox. Lower and ROTAX says causes chatter and excess wear.
      That said, at 2000 RPM, I see 15-18 knots. Nowhere near the “Slow Walk” standard that I and others were trained to. Hope this answered your question
