NO BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS this is EASILY my favorite song I've ever written. The instrumental, lyrics, mix, all of it is so next level and I'm so unbelievably proud of myself. This one was HEAVILY inspired by Kairiki Bear, but I also took influence from DECO*27, Tsumiki, and MARETU. Dizzy took 2 years to finish and I almost scrapped it back when I was 17, but I'm so glad I persevered and finished it, because it came out sooooooo fucking awesome y'all. I hope you guys like it as much as I do.

@BatdadIsBestDad I've never had any formal education in music beyond the basic stuff you learn in like, middle school. I'm entirely self taught with any music theory I know and a lot of it (like 95%) comes from studying vocaloid songs I like!! (the other 5% is undertale/touhou music LMAO)

As someone who never was the burnt out gifted kid but was expected to be the gifted kid instead, this hits hard.
Started this song thinking "Oh! I definitely relate because of my autism" ended it with "ah, I can relate because of abusive relationship trauma as well." It's one of the only songs that perfectly encapsulates the feeling like you're going insane while being gaslit and told to smile the entire time. That last line hit the hardest dude. Absolutely stunning job on this song Kat!

I saw this on tiktok at first, and oh my god I think this is my new favorite vocaloid song. I love the style and beat of this song, it's super catchy. It's like you took the lyricism you usually see with Japanese producers and combined it with the instrumental and production style of Western producers!!! The music video was borderline hypnotic with how the lyrics were done, and the art was so cute😭 Amazing song, jaw dropped

This song is soooo good and reading the description that it was inspired by Kairiki Bear songs?!? Kairiki Bear made one of my favorite songs both of vocaloid and in general (Bug). This song is amazing, it and Self Proclaimed Angel are some my favorite english vocaloid/synth v songs
YEAAAA the title Dizzy Paranoia Girl was directly inspired by the lyrics of Bug, and a bunch of other things like the bitcrush/descending vibrato on the "burnt out and naive", the sparkly windchimes the the drop of the chorus, and the Reverse Glass SFX during the final fakeout chorus were all inspired by Bug. Overall a really big inspiration for the song :))
