  • This is a video of my previous HO Scale Potomac Valley layout, based on the Western Maryland Railway and B&O Railroad in the spring of 1955. This layout was built from 2017-2021 and was tore down when I switched to 2-rail O scale in 2021.

That was quite a nice layout. It must have been tough to switch and give up such a wonderful almost complete layout. God bless you, I couldn’t have done it.

Stunning scenery work. Reminds me of WV. Really nice weathering too. Great sound on the engines. Did you sell all of your WM rolling stock, and rail and buildings when you changed over to 2 rail O?

Thank you so much! It was loosely based on parts of West Virginia and western Maryland. Yes, I sold everything when I changed scales.

It’s a shame you had to switch scales

It was a choice. I had wanted to do 2-rail O scale for a long time, and I finally just went ahead and pulled the trigger. I enjoyed HO scale and learned a lot while modeling in it.
