I got a chance to fly these planes when they were the Columbia 400. Was looking at Cirrus, Mooney and Columbia. Way better than the any Cirrus loved it. Ended up getting something bigger. You can tell this guy was not buying just joy riding. But can you blame him.
I hold a PPL and learned to fly in a 1958 Cessna 172 and a 1964 Cessna 150. I am, and always will be a HUGE fan of Cessna Aircraft! BUT, BUT, BUT....Cessna has got to make a few changes to reinvigorate GA and Cessna sales numbers! I for one would suggest, that Cessna take the Cardinal airframe, which was/is ahead of it's time, and make it the airframe for the Cessna 172, with all modern upgrades of course. Adding a sporty T-handle throttle (As seen on their Diesel models), would be nice....and/or side sticks as seen on the TTx 2. I would also reintroduce the pressurized Cessna 204 RG. Next, I would also introduce a pressurized Cessna Caravan Twin, with RG feature! Cessna has got to be competitive with the likes of Diamond Aircraft and a few other up and comes, but as of right now....they are falling short! One more suggestion, introduce an LSA that doubles as a Trainer, maybe bring back a composite version of the Cessna 152 Aerobat! As far as the 182 goes, it needs to be redesigned from the ground up! Cessna, you do these things, and you will create a much needed buzz!
Amazed and pleased to see that Cessna has a very attractive low wing monoplane. Noted the bozo and instructor were talking comfortably. No engine noise intruding in the cabin. Envy. I miss flying. Vision issues. Don't think flying by Braille is a good thing to do.
They *did* have one... the killed the TTx in 2018. And it wasn't a Cessna invention, it was a Lancair design that was sold as the Columbia 400. The model, even the Cessna TTx, is LC41-550FG. The Lancair Certified - Model 41 - Continental TSIO-550-C - Fixed Gear. Unfortunately they never made a retractable gear model, but that's probably for the best anyway. It's plenty fast enough even with the "down and welded" gear and that saves a tremendous amount on annuals, although I'm not sure it saves all that much on insurance given that it's still a complex and high performance plane.
Why not just need create a "smart" T-handle throttle, that allows you to throttle up, without worrying about dialing or pushing in halfway, counting to 3 and then pushing the rest of the way in? A plane as nice as this, needs such feature!
Wow was the guy in the pilot seat trying to stall the aircraft. Every time the protection come on he turn it off. The instructor stayed calm even though he wanted to kick this mad man out of the captain seat 😂😂😂😂😂
I feel so sorry for the right seat occupant. He showed great patience dealing with that obnoxious shaved-head Slavic neanderthal. A classic example of more money than sense / "I have money, I want one!"
My dear, you are right. I'm bald and my english is not perfect at all. But I'm CFI / CFII / MEI with 2000 total flight time and 500 hours of instruction given. Also, I'm owner and chief of flight school which graduate 50 students a year from private pilot up to ATP. It was my first flight on TTX and I wished to know everything about this airplane. I don't care what do you think about that, ok?) I can fly Cessna TTX, Cirrus SR-20/22, LearJet 35/55, helicopters and 25+ different types of airplanes and helicopters. But what about you? P.S. You have no ideas how much money I have in my pocket, OK?
Doesn't change the fact that you're obnoxious and come across as very unprofessional. If you don't know about the aircraft ask a question and listen. Don't act like a know it all when you clearly don't.
I'm not giving you advices what you need to do and how, OK? And I'm asking the same. I work with this guy from right seat very well and we did great flights and make a great deals. And HE didn't complain about my knowledges and language. Only you and 20 people like you "envious" can comment video about aircraft and me, without any ideas what's going on. Good luck, wolf.
Yo Wildbars, I loved this video. You made some pretty good conversation with the guy and you obviously know how to fly. I really liked seeing the TTX up close and personal.
Is this aircraft capable of flying 200 nm with 4 people onboard? And I mean 4 "normal" people ( combined weight of 890 lb) I'm asking because I saw 4 seats but useful load doesn't strike me as enough. I'm not pilot or into aviation much so be gentle with comments.
Услышал посреди ролика русскую речь и обалдел :)) Привет из "солнечной" Тюмени :))) В прошлом году на Ошкоше изучал этот самолет вдоль и поперек. Но полетать не довелось. Как она левой рукой ...нормально управляется ?
Leon 23 he probably doesn't have a HP endorsement so he wasn't used to the extra left turning tendencies. It's a demo flight so he's learning about the features of the aircraft. On my demo flight we did some maneuvers and a few instrument approaches. Also got up to the flight levels and tried the oxygen and turbocharged fun

Love the ttx!!!
Please do more videos of the TTx.

Great Economical Aircraft to fly cross country. What's the price?
$550,000 - used aircraft (2014)
Does the TOGA button give you a fixed pitch reference, or does it try to capture Vx or Vy?
Christopher Modiano To much knowledge, in the Garmin avionics products, it's initially keyed to give you Vy. Unless you change it.
Sweeet craft!
But then you already knew that!
I guess it's quite off topic but do anybody know of a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Alan Rudy I use flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Quinton Ayaan yea, I've been using Flixzone for since march myself :D
@Quinton Ayaan Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service =) I appreciate it !
@Quinton Ayaan Thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it!!
I didn't realize the ttx has such a high coaming and narrow front window!
Gavin Pruitt You dont really need big windows nowadays the computer tells you everything

Yes, it's a demo flight, pilot wants to check all features of this aircraft including stall prevention. What's wrong with you?))

Institoris Institoris What's your definition of normal people. Because the airlines say that normal men weigh 190lbs lols
I guess it will depend on the options. FIKI adds 150 lbs and AC adds 60. But 200nm is not too much so I guess it can
200 nm is a puddle jump for this and the Cirrus. With the SR22T GTS I can go 200 nm with full fuel and four on board
great video!!
nice aircraft

Привет из "солнечной" Тюмени :)))
В прошлом году на Ошкоше изучал этот самолет вдоль и поперек. Но полетать не довелось.
Как она левой рукой ...нормально управляется ?
I am interested to buy one aircraft like this for my RTW. Or rent it. Is it possible ?
Yes its possible if you have money
Very small windows. feels very cramped
Just like test driving a car lol
Как тебе сзади? Нормально? 😆 удивился услышав русскую речь в середине ролика )
Илья Захаров не знаю, как там сзади, я сижу спереди слева))
Its good he asks questions, but he does not have the info memorized, like some characteristics of that plane, that can prove fatal.
PS I am not a pilot, just having a reasonable thought.
Be one, its fun

Safety protection)) Stupid pilot not killed))))
