Hey enjoy your vids! Just curious on why you say you don’t have to worry about sharks where you were in Costa Rica? That’s one of the things that was certainly on my mind when I was there because of how murky the water was. Would you say Panama would be similar as well with not having to worry about sharks much?
There is sharks all over the Pacific coast of Central America but they do not disturb us spearos. They keep their distance and looks as they do not care... Here in Panama we do have bulls etc but looks as they have plenty of food and are in a good mood :) The islands close to the Pacific coast have basically no sharks (exception Coiba MPA - nobody should be spearing there) and in the islands further away we see whitetip reefsharks, bulls, etc from my experience they allow easy spear/diving.
