That's quite an interesting look at this wonderful Barbie year for a number of reasons. Due to the demographic changes yesterdays playline is todays collector line. It still shocks me at times. Todays playline has so little to offer for those that remember those golden years but that's the Zeitgeist. Maybe that is the reason why I focus more on repros or vintage. No pictures of the black versions? I am glad to say that times have changed and we wouldn't find this anymore. All dolls are now Barbie regardless what color and that was a step in the right direction. I guess the black Day-to-Night Barbie wasn't planned and added only later after release of the catalogue.
