I got got the classic Cyl#2 misfire a month after buy it from a local Ford dealer, threw money at it coils wiring harness plugs, took it back to them and they told me it needs a new engine. The dealership suggested I Trade the edge in for another one, yeah just got stuck with a $19,000 loan for this one i need another $19,000 on top? I already pay $381 a month that would double my monthly bill. so my choices are slim to none. I don't want a boat anchor or a paper weight I have to get a loan to replace the engine for $6,200. you people knew about this long before 2017
I have a 1995 Ford lightning and would not trade it even for a brand new electric Lightning, don’t get me wrong I am a Ford guy and I love Ford, I have a yard full of Fords but no way no how. No thank you.
With the F150E you have 700ft lbs of torque instantly. =They are fast. Around town you get almost 4 miles per KWh of battery. At 70mph that goes down to 2 miles per KWh. So 300-400 miles per electric charge around town. 200-170miles on the highway at speed.
That might be on brand new battery, on perfect weather week going on flat terrain only. Add passengers, a/c, hills, payload, etc and you get less n less as the battery wears...yet you still have to charge for the same amount of time.
Who in their right mind would buy a electric vehicle at all. With very limited range and very low retained value. It will probably cost more to change the battery than the vehicle is worth.
100kwh battery x 13.8 cents per KWh (my energy rate) = $13.8 for a full charge = 170+ highway miles. 300-400 city miles. This Lariat has the 100kwh + 30kwh dual battery
@@jonmccormick8683Jesus just buy one already. You're either the biggest EV ball washer or a Ford employee who green lighted this awful mess the company is now in
Unlike Ford, who only put a light duty diesel in the highest trim levels (unless you had fleet status) and then wondered why no one bought Lariat and King Ranch Diesel F150s
🤔💬Are they going to be incorporating this technology in the Ford Escape, Expedition, Taurus, & Focus 💪🏾🙏🏾👍🏾💯💯💯
Taurus is gone, focus is gone, escape already has sync 4 but on a different screen, and the expedition has this exact screen

Hard pass. Sticking with the gas versions.

✌️
Ford shake is unique ❤️
Nobody wants a truck that under full tow load can only travel 70 miles on a single charge through varied terrain 👎 and I own a Ford truck.
Agree 💯
Most people don’t tow with their trucks anymore, so it really isn’t a big issue
@@EastonHB27
That AND most people use the larger models instead of the F150. F250, 350 etc.
@@EastonHB27People still tow with trucks and overwhelmingly majority prefer to take 3 minutes fill up a tank of gas than to spend hours charging.
@@jdigitalseven7 that doesn’t mean there isn’t a market tho
soon to be selling at $9,999.
