Always fun to see what is defined as a lot of snow in America, while we have over three feet of snow here in Norway and still have to go to work and school as usual ☃️
It’s more so that a lot was dumped in a few hours. It was like a foot snow (even if it doesn’t look like it). My mom lives in Chicago so it was bad there. Especially since it was warm the day before so the previous snow melted and then iced over.
I live in Wisconsin, and we got less than Chicago. We’re definitely used to a lot of snow here, though I’m sure not as much as Norway :)

I like Clay's analysis of A Darker Shade of Magic, I've read only that book and have found it hasn't made me desperate to read book 2 and if I hadn't heard everyone say books 2 and 3 are awesome.

Omg as a lifelong Chicagoan who is super broke I am sooo jealous of your Cafe Ba Ba Reeba dinner, I love that place! Also your star earrings are so cute. And the nice thing about watching the Olympics is that the commercials make for great reading time, since they last foreverrrrr :p I’ve been watching them with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on my lap in the evenings all week haha

Biathlon (the skiing and shooting) truly is the best sport. I’ve been doing it for about five years now here in Australia, but unfortunately our athletes just missed out on qualifying times 😭. Regardless it is the survivor sport, and it’s a lot of fun.
I totally agree with Clay when it comes to a Darker Shade of Magic. Book 1 was a 3.5 star but book 2, I'm struggling to get though it. I'm 280 pages in and I'm forcing my way through, only to pray that I dont DNF
