For some reason I cannot bear to read ebooks or audiobooks, not that I do not read ebooks but there’s something so much more magical and precious to hold a physical book.
Honestly I totally get you but in the end the convenience won me over haha. I definitely love the classic reading experience, but I love listening to audiobooks during my commute and walking around my enormous university. It's hard to find reading time, and audiobooks took me some to to get used to, but they changed my life lol.
@@theforceisnotwithyou I understand where you are coming from, and me saying "I cannot bear it" is a bit exaggerated (I don't know what I was thinking). I do read ebooks and audiobooks, but not as much as I would like to, I realize how convenient it is but somehow I can't enjoy it as much as I could reading a real book and that frustrates me. :(
The Tales of Ba Sing Se is seriously one of the most emotional episodes. I cried all night over uncle Iroh's part.

Lauren Elizabeth Poetry can you do headphones and an audiobook? They’re a life saver for me to listen when I can’t physically read (during chores, in the car, etc)
Elizabeth Mellen yes I usually listen to audiobooks but sometimes I like the reading experience over audiobooks. Especially depending on the story or genre!
Same!!! I have the worste motion sick and i hate audiobooks...and i travel everyday for university 2 hours with bus and feels bad i cannot read. :(
I used to be that way too! Reading would make me super motion sick while I was on the bus during my commute. But it helps if you can slowly start training yourself to read on the bus. Maybe start with something as simple as just reading 5 pages at first, and slowly build up your tolerance a little more every day. I went from getting dizzy after only a few pages to being able to read comfortably for my entire commute in about 6ish months.

that Mistborn edition is SO PRETTY just the cover made me want to read that series.
As a former starbucks barista I’m offended. Frothing milk is an art form. I used to have a lady weigh her bone dry cappuccinos. Also the chocolate milk didn’t froth because of the sugar added. That’s why a mocha has the syrup added to the espresso shot and milk poured over it. Ugh it was the hardest job I’ve ever had
I have never been a big reader but I’ve recently gotten into it and I started on the mistborn series! I just finished the first book and I’m onto the second! I love it! Love your videos!

Finally picked up the mistborn trilogy and oh my gosh.. I laughed. I cried. I was gobsmacked. Blown away is an understatement.

Nice plans! I plan to read Crazy Rich Asians soon. Seen the movie and loved it now I want to read the book. My current reading is: Kindle - Artemis Fowl #1, Audible - A Game of Thrones, Paperback - The Stand (Soon, waiting for it to be delivered. Just finished It). I tend to have a few books going on at the same time. Mostly because of my work. I have downtime so I bring my iPad to work and read the kindle version, and sometimes I have long commute times to a job site (up to 2 hours) so I listen to an Audible book as well. When I'm at home I read in my chair from an actual book

You can get a good Dutch oven on Amazon. Le Creuset if you're willing to pay the $ (but I feel like it's worth it) or Lodge for a cheaper but really good alternative.

The ending of the Mistborn Trilogy made me fucking cry in the best way. It was sooooo beautiful, I'm still heartbroken.
P.S. The Trilogy itself is call the "Mistborn" Trilogy, the first book is actually called "The Final Empire" just a personal pet peeve... XD

Hooray for a long reading vlog! If you like Fyre you neeeed to read Bad Blood by John Carreyrou. Nonfiction book about Theranos that pretended they had a box that could do full blood analysis with a drop of blood. It was my first read of the year and is still blowing my mind. I’m know listening to the podcast based on the reporting, The Dropout. AND Jennifer Lawrence will be playing the CEO in a movie

I love mistborn era one so damn much, and I just reread about a year ago. it's /such/ a good reread, and I'll admit it's definitely better then era 2 but they're also very different? And, even saying that, I've still rated all the Wax and Wayne books 5 stars. Wait until you start getting into Stormlight rereads, you're wondering why as you're just reading like 1200 pages of stuff you've already read but learning so much new

There are some fantasy novels that are great but haven't felt the desire to re-read. Mistborn is not one of those. I've been through the original trilogy like five times. The Greatcoats series is another one I've been through several times as well. The Iron Druid Chronicles are also on that list. The last series I can think of are the Darth Bane novels. Bane is, imo, the best Star Wars material outside of the original movies. There's just something about those books that make me want to return to those worlds again and again. For those of you out there who haven't read the Greatcoats series, you do not know what you are missing. The characters are so well written you just feel like you know them. It's so easy to emotionally connect with them. Even some of the main antagonistic characters have a depth to them which makes them relatable and make you feel for them. Fantasy nerds who haven't given this series a chance, please do yourself a favor and give them a read. You will giggle one minute and cry the next. I can't say enough about how much I love these books. I hope the author returns to this world some day. But I wouldn't want him to force out an uninspired novel. If he ever returns to this world I hope he does it when he is really feeling it. In the meantime, I'll probably re-read them 10 more times.
