I’ve been noticing this interesting core/item distribution that happens to be present in quite many offense teams, consisting of [band; scarf; specs]. With each choiced mon being able to do more than their choiced role(Rillaboom(breaker with band): G terain+knock off+u turn; enam(speed control with scarf): healing wish(borderline pure scarf in some cases though); crown(breaker with specs): volt switch, (some)defensive utility, anti recovery/special wall breaking moves against stall/fat. This ‘core’ is usually quite hazard weak and paired with tusk as a result(haven’t actually seen ace being used as hazard removal for this type of team, maybe due to games being slightly longer for a court change to be effective for)
@@danielsmith5032 you’re right about defensive utility. But Tusk’s role compression is what i think helps the most, the fact that you can fit in more roles, which you already struggle to do so by running so many choiced mons.
enamorus design is uncanny valley for me, and it didn’t help that LA made it debut in 360p resolution. love the vids, wish there were more tera stellar candidates
glad I'm able to catch up on vids again, was great seeing your method at work once more :] SpDef Leftovers Ursaluna is absolutely terrifying and I'm loving how much work it's put in these games (the calcs against Azu blew me away in particular)
Man I faced this sire clod guy on ladder a few times in the 1600-1700 range and he was a tough customer. Def didn’t help that he got 3 static procs in one game, but he’s a tricky opponent.
There’s always a Kyurem set that can mess you up to be fair, but having only crown as your direct answer to kyurem(and only to special sets and special sub protect sets). Does mean that work is needed to prevent kyurem from getting in for free. Good thing that this team is more offensively oriented so that it is not the most difficult to do.
You said that the Ursaluna was being supported in part through grassy terrain, but doesn't Earthquake get nerfed in Grassy Terrain. Or did the nerf in power not really matter?
Might be that eq is still > high horsepower/ headlong rush even after grassy terrain nerf. Pinka tends to prefer consistency and avoids lower accuracy moves where he can (I think its a playstyle choice) and maybe wants to avoid recoil because it's a bulk up set
Lol I bopped another viewer using this team in lower ladder, I was like wow what a cool unique team but now I know it was yours. Ended up going down 6-1 and reverse sweeping with cm iron crown
12:05 wondering why you didnt consider going to enam I'm prity sure it is better here I think Scarf Earth Power cooks the whole team and you don't take any damage on crown. if slowking isn't 2hit koed then crown is free or stay in predicting them to switch for regen. enam also might prevent sun from getting up. please lmk if there's a line I'm missing with crown trying to get better at calculating different options on turns like this found its a reason I lose a lot of the time (not considering an option my opponent has).
Love hearing the thought process - makes me understand how top level players think !
perfect timing, hope its a nice day for all of ya
Thanks. Wishing you a great day as well!
Getting back into the work week, but this is perfect for my lunch break so its not half bad. Hope your doing alright

Band-scarf,specs is real? I thought I was just bad at teambuilding
@@TrulyAtrocious Yessir. It helps that those users have pivoting moves
Yea I wonder if Ace would be helpful, but with a bulky mon it gives you more room for feeling out your opponent. And Tusk helps with Tusk lol
@@TrulyAtrocious band scarf specs is literally in front of you…(the team in this video is band scarf specs if you haven’t noticed)

It reminds me of the crab demon thing from powerpuff girls tbh

Its sprite in Run&Bun/Radical Red is outright hideous to look at.
Sire Clod played that samurott SO beautifully. No spike before turn 34 is UNPRECEDENTED BY WALRUS ENJOYERS

Fantastic video. Thank you for the locked in gameplay and sharing your thought process.

This team a meal and a half for kyurem

Awesome laddering.
And dang. I still can’t get calcdex to load
Will you do a natdex mega heracross stream?
Hi Pink. What’s your favourite paradox mon in terms of Aesthetic and battle capability?
Game 2 turn 20 didn't ice spinner ohko the enam on switch-in if they clicked that?

The team has 5 weak to ice - did you find that problematic when testing?

Why do you run discharge over thunder bolt on your Raging Bolt
Imma guess para chance, breakpoints met, or PP, something like that
@@cleanserenewithanautismbeam Hmm interesting i might have to look into using that move myself
