This song would be amazing as the ending theme for the Final Fantasy VII remake chapter 1, when you finally leave Midgar and you got the whole world to explore. Your party walking towards the vast lands, the sun rising while the credits roll.

Thank you for this masterpiece. I love this one, it's so emotional.. at one point it's calming and several seconds later it can be eerie and grim. It's like one song can tell whole story of FF7.

This tune is also known as Cloud's theme, by the way. And, yes, there certainly is relative variety within and throughout this tune as a whole.
This version will be better than any official ost of the remake. Mark my words.
Edit: I was otherworldly wrong. These BitSymphony's versions are still very good, and they could combine perfectly with the Ever Crisis remake. But the music from the actual remake is the best soundtrack I've ever seen in my life. A masterpiece, like the game itself. They united the nostalgia of our beloved musics with an entire modern and epic look. They managed to make it better something that was already perfect.
I liked the remake version but this one still blows that one out the park. They didn't capture the emotion that the original did. They should have stayed closer with the original.

I kept looking for this theme after playing the remake I was like "What was that one theme that played when it was daytime in the Sector 7 Slums" a month ago then I bought the original and just knew it was the world map theme so I looked for that and found this... Thank you so much I've been looking for this theme for a long time

This version is actually better than the one in the remake I think. They cut it down in half for making 2 songs in the remake, and I really can't understand why

For the Remake, I can imagine this playing near the end. It's an internal monologue that cloud is speaking. He's talking about everything that he's seen in his journey. Aerith laughing, Tifa smiling, Red shaking water off his fur and splattering Yuffie. Barret nuzzling Marline and her complaining that his whiskers hurt. Through all of that he realizes what he's fighting for and accepts the thought he tells everyone after the final battle. That they did the best they could do. No matter the outcome, they had to the right to walk home proud.
There's hope in his voice, but pain too. Overall he realizes that he fought for what was right , but more importantly, he fought for his newfound family. With that, he continues on with unbreakable resolve and a strange sense of calm.
This music recreated so beautifully that I could see and feel this so clearly. Excellent job. This is fit for the remake.

Reminds me of a Star Trek soundtrack even though it's for FFVII.
I wish to live in a world someday where FF7 would become better known and as much appreciated as Star Trek. It deserves it so much

Hearing this just reminds me of how badly they hurt this game and then while remembering that, I remembered how badly they hurt KH3 lol. They weren't thinking about this game while they were remaking it, they were thinking about their pockets. I skipped KH3 because I saw their tomfoolery a mile away and I also saw it with this remake but I bought it anyway and now I wish I hadn't. I will not make that same mistake again.

Excellent. It almost gave me a heart attack. I'm picky about Authenticity, especially original music compositions. [original like National Emblem played by L.H.S grenadier band here in Bethlehem]. I was afraid the politics during the remake would ruin this beautiful song. Not a fan of Walt Disney, or Square, but this song is great. I hope remake is good. ;)
