"I am Arnaut who gathers up the wind, And chases the hare with the ox, And swims against the torrent." "Go, then, song, show before her: if it were not so, you wouldn't deserve Arnaut's endeavour."
Thank you for educating youth as my Historical Cultural teachers were most loved 🥰 by me having a Liberal Arts college preparatory from 1966-1969 then college but In junior year unable to register in classes required to finish my History degree thus the 🇺🇸 lost a History teacher that the higher education system hasn’t improved but has become worse by 2024.
Very strong content if at times a little fawning. Inspiring to hear this stuff from someone who knows layered history and context - please continue this work. Your readings were a highlight - a clear respect and love for the material evident. Well done.
Trobar dot org website is good online repository, otherwise you can search for PDFs of Snodgrass, Kehew & Pound collection "Lark in the Morning: The Verses of the Troubadours," and Goldin's "Lyrics of the Troubadours and Trouvères."
