This is one of my all-time favorite songs from Motionless In White. Seeing them live at Rocklahoma 2022 made me feel like I was in the afterlife because of how amazing it was to hear it and sing along. I wish I could have lived in that moment forever. Hearing Chris sing that song live was the best possible experience I could imagine. Keep it metal. \m/

This is a really great song and I love it. Every time I hear Chris's voice right before the outro, I get goosebumps and I tear up. I've been listening to Motionless In White since 2011 and a lot of their songs I cry to, because they relate to me in so many ways. If you want to hear their heaviest song they've ever produced, I HIGHLY recommend Immaculate Misconception. That is my number 1 favorite song from them.
I have such a massive love-hate relationship with this song. It's definitely a good song in the sense of the song itself, but the timing of this album's release was very poor for me because I had just gotten my heart ripped out by the first girl I had ever fallen in love with, and this song just hit way too hard in what I was feeling at the time (to be fully honest it was the first time a song made me cry). I have tried numerous times since its release to listen to it again but it just brings back so much trauma for me, even though by itself the song is fantastic. Anyways enough rambling 😅 great vid as always :)

I read from somewhere that Another Life is supposedly inspired off of Chris' Ex Gaia, where he had to end the relationship because of his mental state and issues at the time as well as Gaia having a miscarriage, which is really sad.
