Honestly, I got to admit that I agree with people here. I am also going to buy the replicas because it is just a sock, not even calf leather. And I genuinely like the design. ofc u could produce a lot of products cheaper, but 1) u wouldnt sell as much so u start to cover the production costs if u dont pay for advertisement (which cost a lot), also the time and work u put in as the designer isnt free (i know its crazy and really hard to understand that people doesnt work for free and trees and drink air)

It's mad crazy how people would pay so much money for something that can be replicated to look and feel exactly the same but sold at very cheap price. It's like, they're buying and wearing cheap shoes but donating some extra hundreds or thousands to the luxury brand for the sake of feeling satisfied.
That's exactly why. It's like people who do all their shopping at whole foods stores and upmarket supermarkets. Yeah some of their stuff is better quality but I guarantee you at least 50% of the stuff in their trolley is available at any supermarket and they're paying a markup to buy it from that particular shop. But it makes them feel good about themselves. It makes them feel part of an elite and that is ultimately the product they're buying.
I found some fake was from china for 40 bucks the real 1s are probably more comfortable but these are very comfortable for fakes

Luxury brands like Balenciaga or any other high-end designer brand don't mass produce and try to remain exclusive. So you're not just paying for a simple sock here. Besides the name..it's also the elements of design, choice of material, quality of production. Of course you're also paying for the prestige, top notch customer service, marketing and very expensive retail locations and whatnot. That's why they can charge you that kind of money and some people appreciate and are happy to pay that.
I just laugh when I see kiddos who can't even afford a proper meal, but wearing fake luxury brand items (even if they are good hard to tell fakes..it's obvious nevertheless). You just look like a clown!
