What’s in my Disney park bag!!!!!
They have pressed penny machines down in the parks so a couple of rolls of quarters and pennies and a pressed penny holder would be a good thing to include.
Heck yeah, Superfeet Green! Great recommendation, and not just for a park trip. Those things have changed my world.
Great video! For me, since I live close to Disneyland, I typically just bring a few items:
Drawstring (faster through security) Disney Performing Arts bag
Plastic water bottles
Extra shirt
Money+tickets
Powerbank
Great video!!! and I have a couple of suggestions for video ideas like:
-a whole video dedicated for getting ready for travel like(nails, hair,snacks, shopping etc)
-a whole video dedicated for showing everything that you would take on a two week holiday
-a video that is for you carry on backpack and going into detail with what you like to bring onto the plane
-and a video for what you do on flights for flights that are really long (example, 8+ hours what you do on flights)
-also a video for skincare on a flight
-and lastly plane,airplane and packing/travel hacks

Yes, please, to a what’s in my park bag video. We are going this December. We’ve been many times before, however, I always tend to overpack my park bag. I love to see what others find essential to take into the parks.
I have two Bagallini bags - love them and highly recommend.
Girl I feel the wide feet struggle!! I also highly recommend the Sketchers Go Walks and those Nikes for walking in general. And alternating shoes at Disney really does work!!

We normally take one Backpack for the Parks. Put everything from Wallets, autograph book, waters, phones, Medicine needs for the day. Now with my son, we bring a Backpack and we bring the Baby Bag. Baby Bag has Diapers, needs for his Bottles, Oragel, everything for a lil one. Sunscreen is a must for his sensitive skin, Change of clothes for him.
this may sound bad but did you use a small backpack that your son could wear? i'm thinking of getting a toddler backpack and putting just her stuff in there. she is 2 1/2. i'm talking just a couple diapers, wipes, and change of clothes. thoughts?
In regards to feet....
My family and I went to WDW for the first time last January, and we planned for a rest day in between our park days. On that rest day my sister and I booked a massage at our hotels spa (my husband is active duty so we stayed on property at the Shades of Green military hotel, highly recommend!!) and I was AMAZED and how much better my feet and calves felt after. I have Spina Bifida and so my lower half is just all kinds of trouble, and this saved me! Not everyone can do that, but I heartedly agree with Blair that whatever you can do to help your feet is a must!

Love all your Disney vlogs and videos! It’s been helping light a fire under my butt to get some of my own Disney tips and tricks up on my channel.
As far as bags, I love using my Kavu one-shoulder backpack in the parks because they’re so versatile. I can even sling it in front of me for some rides, rather than having to take it off.

Awesome video! I went on my first Disney trip last year and didn't really account for foot/muscle care beyond having a comfortable pair of shoes and needless to say, my legs and feet were destroyed by the end of the week. So this video was super helpful in knowing what to bring/use for different ailments i'll definitely encounter when I go back next month. I would love a "what's in my disney bag" video too, especially for the smaller size bags you mentioned! Great video as always

As a guy, i like to wear to Disneyland, swim trunks, comfortable sandals (i like to wear my Teva Hurricane XLT2) a dryfit shirt/tank, and then have a light rain jacket just in case it rains plus it can keep me warm enough when its gets chilly towards the night. And obviously a back pack (waterproof) that has my other essentials.

Excellent video Blair! This is very helpful. I am feeling overwhelmed by what to take, what bag, what to take in the bag, etc... you answered a lot of questions and gave great suggestions. So I will be filling my amazon cart and when we get closer to our trip (2019) I will have everything ready to go. I especially appreciate all the foot care products, probably the most important but the last thing you think of when planning your trip. I also like that everything you suggested is light weight. I'll be traveling with twin 7 year old boys. I am trying to keep it at a minimum :-) Also, I'm waiting for my t-shirt to get here that I ordered from your Etsy shop a couple of weeks ago. I agree with the autograph thing. I can't tell you how many times I've ran into some awkward moments because I didn't quite know how to interact with a character. Usually it's not bad if they have a handler with them that help with the interaction.

I love the Nike shorts but the under armor shorts that are the same style but they have pockets that can fit your phone easily and that would be handy in Disney if you don’t want to carry a bag.

Hi Blair! I have some questions about the camera and a comment.
I'll start with my tip first. On my first trip to DW, got a horrid, painful blister. My son showed me how to use the moleskin-this is not on the package. We had to borrow scissors from the gift shop (that's another must pack item for us; something small enough, like sewing scissors) to cut the moleskin. You cut a small square of moleskin, then you cut your blister sized hole in the middle of the square and place the moleskin around the toe so that the blister kind of fits thru the hole. This keeps the blister from popping, and believe me, it feels like you have no blister at all. I couldn't feel it anymore. (this is taught in search and rescue field training guide books, FYI). Gross, but a [Disney]lifesaver!
For my camera questions:
1. Do you use the basic (auto) settings to vlog or do you use manual settings? (ie, am I watching videos shot in auto or would I need to learn how to operate the manual settings to get the quality I'm seeing from you?)
2. When vlogging in the parks, do you use some sort of hand held piece the camera is mounted on for stabilization or do you just hold the camera? (Sorry, I don't know what that piece of equipment would be called.)
3. Do you have to change the battery in the middle of the day or does it last throughout the day (park vlogging)?

We love the Fuel Rods (cell phone battery) that they sell in the parks. $30 for initial purchase, but then you just turn in the used on one and get a new one for free at lots of kiosks inside the parks. One less thing to remember as I never have to charge it. I'm leaving on a girl's trip in 3 weeks (well, 22 days, but who's counting?) and this helped me plan! Thank you!

Just found you today and I’m watching this video recognizing how you have very similar features to myself (hair color, fair skin, etc). Then you mention you have pretty severe scoliosis. I too have pretty severe scoliosis that I live with on a daily basis. My lumbar is a 40 degree curve, my thoracic is 20 degrees, and my neck has no curve whatsoever. I had back surgery in 2009 to repair a herniated disc at L5-S1, and have since needed other surgeries but have chosen to hold off for now.

Hi Blair. I ended up getting the Canon G7X Mark II! So far I'm liking it. Still have to figure out how the settings work, but it was convenient to carry in the parks (just got back from a one week trip 4/14).

Thank you so much for this video! I’m going to Disney in October and my #1 concern is my feet 😂 I notoriously choose the wrong footwear for everything. I hobbled around Italy because I wanted to look cute. A blister the first day was not cute lol. It ruined my trip. I will try to take all your recommendations. I was hoping to hear a recommendation for sandals because I hate wearing closed shoes in the heat but I might just have to suck it up. Definitely going to Amazon to get the fan! 😊
Birkenstocks are my #1 favorite comfortable sandals. I personally wouldn't walk around WDW all day in them, but they'd be great for a few hours. (Many people do wear Birks all day in WDW!)

Love this!! The foot care is so important. Doubly so if a runDisney race is involved :) I focus on bringing good socks. Moisture wicking socks designed for running are so helpful for Disney trips. They don’t have weird seams on the toes and they help prevent your foot from sitting in sweat all day.
I will also throw some Halls Defense vitamin C drops in my carry-on. Along with a small hand sanitizer, these are super helpful to prevent germs during travel and in the week or so before a trip.
If you are going to Disney World take toilet paper/wipes, the humility makes you sweaty and the toilet paper they provide sticks to you... trust me take your own. Also, anti itch cream. I use Aveeno... I can’t go to Florida without it.

I have a friend who also fights scoliosis, can I recommend a bag that could really help?Mountainsmith Tour 9L Lumbar Pack with the Strappettes backpack straps. You can get them at REI, not cheap but will last the rest of your life, I've had mine for 15 years and it still looks new. It takes the weight off your shoulders and carries it around your hips...but doesn't look dumb. In Utah and Oregon I've seen many women just use them as a purse or a diaper bag for everyday use. I use mine when I travel as a catchall. It locks to my body securely (on front or back) so I'm not a target for theft and makes me feel like the 15-20 lbs of stuff I carry is 5 pounds. It can be worn by a man or a woman. And has places on the outside to strap items on. I love mine!

We took pretty good care of our feet whenmu husband and I went for our Disneymood. The walking is no joke, by the last day I was getting hip pain and had to cut the day short.
The walking really is no joke! We always end up moving slowly on our last day too!

I wish I had watch this vlog on my last trip to disney, I decided to go in BOOTS! Not confortable at all, I ended up with blisters feet, and I had to buy tennis shoes at the park wich are quite expensive to finally realize they weren’t confortable, so I bought flip flops to heal my feet! Flip flops on December! I was literally a walking mess!

I also wear leggings all the time so I'll definitely have to order a pair by Baleaf! What is they're sizing like? I find that size charts are never spot on with stretchy clothing. I'm around a M for regular clothing, but size down to an S for leggings, wondering if Baleaf is the same? xxx
Yes! Leggings for life. I typically wear a M on the bottom and I wear a M in Baleaf as well. Not sure if that helps, but I've found them to run true to size!
