Fell is tired. Every single dream he is stuck in, he’s always getting hurt. It’s not like they can leave Nightmare!Verse. It’s locked down. No one can get in or out. Ink remembers all the nightmares and all the dreams. So he can understand where fell is coming from. They often go and check on the multiverse Trees together to talk about it.
Also, Fell isn’t a full skeleton. He’s made out of Ink’s paint and- Ink. Creator magic, normal magic, and a little goop added in. So yes, he can turn into ink and go into the puddles. He’s also stronger than normal sanses.
Because of him also being made of Ink’s magic and ink, Ink sees him as his son. And fell lets him, as seen in this video.
