…im off hyper expensive composite dlg…building cheap foamies with inexpensive gears…good god what a relief and such fun…experimenting build and wild flying in surprising places…thank god…
I’m so excited you’re carrying the Mini Dart 2. I bought one a few weeks before it seemed to explode in popularity. It’s my first DLG, nobody flies them where I live in Canada so I gave it a try and it’s amazing. One thing I’d suggest: the tail is extremely weak to any side-forces. It can handle a little extra tail weight so I put a little GF patch to reinforce it. Also, EMAX ES9051 servos do fit, but you have to remove the bottom of the case and mount the control arm upside down. I hope you’ll also have access to parts for the MD2, especially wings?
Hi Thomas , your videos are hi end from what i see, and the D2 looks a good first dlg for me to start with, So my question is how does someone trying to go from drones or micro warbirds get into this hobby , as the programmable radio gear looks expensive and overwhelming .I take it, its impossible to get off the ground without a launch and zoom setup ?Regards Paul
@@ChristieNel the Kite is bigger, full carbon and solid Rohacell, so relative to others using the same materials it’s still priced quite low. They must have found a way to streamline *something*!

Hello I'm going to buy this DLG and I was wondering if it was a good beginner DLG and if it is easy to build for somebody who almost never touch an rc plane ? Have a great day.
As a first DLG the Mini Dart 2 is a great choice due to the easy to access price point. The build is quite straightforward, although it’s always a learning process on your first composite model. Based on your comment I’m assuming you already learned the basic RC flying skills like flying level and turning?
Their quality is impressive and SUCH a good value. Limited models available at www.armsoarusa.com for immediate shipping.

Lots of ways to enjoy RC flying :)
Amazing. I’ve been dreaming of an Armsoar glider for quite awhile. Great videos.
Thank you! Hope to get one in your hands to enjoy some day :)
Hi Thomas, really great video. Great detail of the two models.
Is the mini dart 2 no longer available in the USA?
Will be placing an order!
Thank you :D

Your thread definitely helped boost awareness for the model, thank you!
Yes, we have access to parts. We'll start having parts in our third batch :)

Would be great if you had a build video for the Mini Dart 2
hey, quality seems there, nice video ;-)
Yes, the quality is quite impressive!
That is well impressive. It costs less than half my Strike 3.
I don't understand how they were able to get the MD2 to this price point, but they did.
@@ArmSoar Maybe they've automated much of it, or at least have a streamlined process. The Kite is pretty expensive by comparison, though.

@@ArmSoar Let's hope they keep up the trend! I'm already quite impressed with how tough carbon DLGs are. Now they just need to bring down the price.
I had a dart in my cart, but the $60 to ship from Canada to the upper Midwest stopped me for now.
I'm sure they will be gone soon regardless. 😊
Unfortunately it's expensive to ship a large box :(
Thanks nice sailplanes but there Sold Out.
