I can't use an uplift in single core performance of 5% to anything. Intel, you have to do better
I am also curious about how big this performance lift will be!? Because Meteor lake has been a total disappointment.
I hope they use less power. The performance is fine.

wow wow wow ! craxy rumors! They are in fact going from Intel 7 which is a 10nm node but similarto TSMC 7nm. Intel cannot fab the new CPUs themself due to everlasting production issues, delays and technical incompetence to shring their nodes. They are NOT going from Intel 7 to 20A!!!! They are in fact outsourcing the new CPUs, at least the top models like the i9 to TSMC 3nm node. But this will also be a significant step for Intel. 10nm (Intel 7) -----> TSMC 3nm. So just imagine a 14900KS running on 3nm!!!! Even though they outsource this gen, I hope Intel finally can knock it out of the park this time. I have the 14900KS running 6 Ghz all core water cooled.. I could only dream of the same CPU but on several node shrinks to 3nm! WAUV!
Use that chip in unreal engine 5.4 without intel base profile. Congratz you have bsod
@@tasotokat I am not sure I understand what you mean? I dont have any issues with my CPU. Its fairly new, only a month. No doubt it requires some custom setup to run at its best.. I alwasys calibrate AC_LL and DC_LL but it rock stable now- I really tested it against a lot of highend games with my 4090 that perfectly matches it. The thing is that after I now got it and played around with it my conclusion is that it IS a "custom CPU". I have a very powerfull custom water loop, direct die, liquid metal and SuperCool DD cooler. I can cool it and it runs 6ghz but it took me a few days to optimize and stabilise it.. I never just use AUTO profile.. But after my previous 13900KS that suddenly broke also DD I have now for the first time put PL1 and PL2 in place. PL1 320W and PL2 253W with a Windows on 56sec. Much much better and easier to stabilise .. Before I always HAD TO HAVE it run CBR23 @ 420W etc. Not this time haha.. no more OCCT and CBR23. Theese are the only apps that throttle it.. all other including games etc. rund perfectly up to 320W
@@lassekristensen385 13th and 14th gen intel cpus degrade when overvolted causing blue screens and out of memory errors evident on Unreal games. its currently a big deal and posted everywhere. Motherboard manufacturers are issuing a Bios update with new "baseline settings". Very odd someone that overclocks wouldnt know about this. Anyway theyre no good for overclocks, get the new Bios and set it to base or it will be dead in a few months.

Amd fanboys are daydreaming. Linus gets payed by amd and he still said in one of his new videos that arrow lake might be a push by intel to reclaim there dominance. Linus and intel cut there deal off almost a year ago ever since amd made a deal with linus tech tips and he still said that

@@supriadiramlan5545 I mean I've built pc using both Ryzen and intel I think I have a say also I don't just watch Linus I've watched hundreds of channels over the past 5 years and have worked on old and new pc

i built pc since ABIT and DFI not sure u recognize those brands
@@supriadiramlan5545 Those brans are older than me but i still recognize them old PC are sick as hell. Ive only really used OEM older PC from 1990 to 2007 i bought them used for testing purposes since why not. None of them had any ABIT motherboards but one of them had an old ati GPU(AGP) in it i don't remembers what type i just thought it was cool. Also im not really talking about intel at the current moments I'm just think a lot of the leaks recently seem very promising and intel might have some serious bagner next generation also before the x3d CPU this generation intel was on top
