ICC Kingston 2025 01 29 Snorkel Pool and Byres Corner on the River Spey near Fochabers

Drone footage of the Byres Corner and the Snorkel Pool between Bogmoor and Fochabers. NOt erosion on the corner. White water in the river beside the exposed field is a line of the previous bank protection. On 31st December, when bank enforcement was completely removed river crossed on field. The course of the flood water across the field can be seen. This footage was taken when the SPEA gauge at Bioat O' Brig was at 1.4 metres. This is more than half a metre above normal. At this height of water shows the former water courses which now take flood water in.
