This is the strongest warning of the coming Last Days trials that I have ever heard. It appears to be imminent. Pray for strength, everyone.
What exactly did he say that was a warning? All I heard was another talk about how temples are important. Does he call out the corrupt politicians? Or big pharma?

@@Theluckypessimist although I agree with you, tbh… what else is there to say? Unless given revelation from the Lord? “Don’t give in to this era” I’m paraphrasing, but it’s pretty critical what simple advice/warnings given from the prophet are heavily looked over. Another example is keeping covenants. The times we live in tend to head to our desires. I am just that though. I am not perfect. And I’ve forgotten so much that I’ve fell off the path made for me. Also, calling out politicians and pharmaceuticals isnt his job lol
Yes. They all call them out whenever they speak of the wicked. Those who indulge in wickedness and do not repent will suffer the consequences. Including politicians and big pharma and anyone else
@@Theluckypessimist If we are prepared, we shall not fear. He reminded us to strengthen our spiritual foundation of Jesus Christ like the temple is getting a strengthened foundation.
Just like in the foundation. We have gaps and damage in our lives that we need to repair as soon as possible.
We need Repair, Joy and Peace.
When the prophet speaks, one listens, for it is the voice of the Lord.
I have had a personal witness from the Holy Ghost that this man is a prophet of God. God lives and loves us so much that he sent his Son in sacrifice for us. We are loved so much that he guides us through his prophet to help us be unified and return to him. I know this is true.
Who else is here getting excited and hungry for another conference weekend? Every six months my spirit is craving the words of living prophets. They are such a blessing ❤️

Indeed! And how he stated in his closing remarks: "the pandemic has demonstrated how quickly life can change". This reminded me of what Paul wrote to the Thessalonians about these latter days in 1. Thes. 5:2-6

But he did say in his talk that we have no need to fear, if we are prepared and we keep our covenants in order to have Christ's power! Be of good courage! Learn to draw upon his power! So we don't succumb to the unique anxieties of our day.
Let’s all go to the Temple ASAP. And then let’s go again, and again and again…

Today I am so very happy for the evening I came across the Book Of Morman. I am so very happy that the Holy Sprite chose to confirm to a person no better than I was that what I was reading was true . This conference was for me the most wonderful yet. I have so much love for our beloved profit , the 1st. Presidency and the 12 apostles.

This is nourishment to the soul. Many blessings have been promised if we obey and keep our covenants. “We need not to succumb to the anxieties of this world.”
“Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.”
I have a personal testimony that temples are as important to us today as the tabernacle was in the day of Moses. Without them, we would be left unable to perform essential work that turns “the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers”. I am grateful to know and belief in a prophet and to know of the importance of the temples and the works performed therein.
This is truly profound! I'm so grateful to know that this man is a true prophet of God in our day. So sad for those 112 souls who gave this the thumbs down. May God bless them to see the ligth.

I know he is the one for these days and I just love each talk that I find before he became The Prophet, and he just gets better.
I know that I am getting better and will continue to gain information, insights,as The Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ is so loving and great teaching with us.
I am slow in some areas, other things I can understand and help others.
I'm grateful for all I know and have.

I love how he compares the strengthening of the temple foundation to shoring up our testimonies and faith. Truth for everyone.
The more and more I hear this talk and listening to other talks by the Prophet in the past couple years it becomes evident to me that the Lord’s coming is near. And that the trials and persecution of the saints are ahead. If we are not strongly founded on the Lord the trials ahead will shake us off our foundation and we will be consumed with fear.
We also need to take the Spirit as our guide. Already so many are being deceived, calling that which is good bad, and that which is bad good. The danger is if we permit the adversary and his followers on this earth to deceive us over and over eventually they will deceive us in regards to things that ARE of eternal importance. The same mainstream media that is calling the convoy evil also tells us that poly amorous relationships are good and that “experts” say humans were not meant to be monogamous.
I feel that this man is called by God to help teach us in these times.

What a wonderful time to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. The journey is so worth it. "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath entered into the heart of man, those things which God hath prepared for those that love Him."
I love the Restoration, I know more every day, and I understand better every time I pay attention to our Prophet and my spiritual leaders. I’m so great full for the Truth , open my heart eyes and ears to the lord commands, come follow him , he knows and shows us the way to the best live ever .

Yep every time society changes they have to change. Remove sexism, remove racism, etc. remove the denigration of other religions. Shorten it cuz people are busy today.
But the unchanging truths and doctrines are not adjusted to fit the world.
They are unchanging and irrefutable. Men and women are equal in God's eyes, same with every race and Religion, God loves his children with a perfect love that we cannot comprehend. Improved efficiency does not indicate that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is easily moved by public opinion. Some of societies changes are positive and align with God's will such as women's suffrage, but many are not and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is often criticized for the things they will not change. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not swayed by public opinion because public opinion as President Nelson has said is not the arbiter of truth. That being said I'm sure you're a great person and I loved your dolphin video!! ❤
Not only is President Nelson a perfect prophet for these times….he is so an amazing man! How grateful I know he is the Lord’s prophet!

What a blessing and comfort to have a prophet in our midst! He speaks with power and authority of God. D&C 21:46 4 Wherefore, meaning the church, thou shalt give heed unto all his words and commandments which he shall give unto you as he receiveth them, walking in all holiness before me;
5 For his word ye shall receive, as if from mine own mouth, in all patience and faith.
6 For by doing these things the agates of hell shall not prevail against you; yea, and the Lord God will disperse the powers of darkness from before you, and cause the heavens to shake for your good, and his name’s glory.
I love my humble Prophet. He is a true Man of God.

This is revelation. I only hope the "Saints" eyes can be opened to the reality of these words and times. Our bubble is bursting.
3:50 “If you and I are to withstand the forthcoming perils and pressures it is imperative that we each have a firm spiritual foundation built upon The Rock of our Redeemer Jesus Christ” This struck me as so vital for us now. Also “ And oh how we will need His power in the days ahead” We need to be ready for what is coming. What pressures is he referring to? He is a Seer and can see with what is ahead with the Lord’s blessing.This has put me to think and pray for understanding and action in my part.
As I was listening to Anthony D. "Remember thy suffering." I was greatly disturbed that his disease has not been exorcized from him. With so many like minded members given authority. Why isn't that authority being used. There is no reason for any one to accept illness when Christ has given us power to heal, and allow his glory to work in our lives. We need to do his work while we worship him daily

I love the example of the sacrament cups.
As a former Catholic, so do I! We all drank out of the same cup during Mass. Gross. But when I saw how the sacrament was administered, I was impressed. And that was in addition to how amazed I was to feel the Spirit!

We thank you dear God for your prophet, for revelation and your Spirit. This message has open my spiritual eyes to understand that by obedience to God's covenants I can receive the strength and power of the Lord to overcome opposition and afflictions.

Wasn't it Brigham Young who, when he discovered that the foundation being laid for the Salt Lake temple, made them tear it out and replace it, because he intended for that temple to last through the millennium? Looks as if it just might!
Yes, it was made of sandstone, or some soft material that settles too much. God intends for it to last thru the millenium, maybe longer. So to me this means we WILL have a huge earthquake sometime before His coming again!
Lore. Actually the sandstone was left and the granite was used going forward. The sandstone foundation was discovered during this current construction process. It will remain and is being massively strengthened to last a long, long time.
@@Jan-wd1is I don't quite understand what you just wrote? The original Navoo Temple was also built to proper schematics and consecrated, but it was burnt down and later foundation condemened. So what does an Earthquake have to do with the Lords coming again? From an Engineering standpoint, there are no buildings safe enough to withstand a strong enough earthquake. Have you ever asked yourself, if we are to gather in Missouri when the Lords Trumpet sounds, why are we spending so much money on rebuilding a material thing which we know is only a landmark.

@@johnrubio2690 Because we will use the Salt Lake Temple during the millennium and the current foundation isn't strong enough to keep it standing when huge earthquakes happen here. Why strengthen the foundation We? To keep that Temple standing and in use . Have you noticed all the temples being built? I've even wondered if Stake centers will be converted into Temples in smaller areas. Most Stake centers are big and have enough land around them to make that possible. We aren't all going to Missouri! The Church is all over the world. The New Jerusalem may be there, but the Church, the people will be everywhere.
And why bring up Nauvoo? It was rebuilt and is now in use. All I was saying is that if we weren't going to have an earthquake strong enough to need that kind of strengthening, why do it? To preserve the pioneer work. Those Temples, built with hand tools have always amazed me. Like the beautiful Cathedrals in Europe and UK. They should be preserved.
Just completed a session of youth baptisms for the dead with the brand-new baptism prayer. I not only felt the change was inspired, but came across this talk again by chance today!
