    Thank you for sharing. Made me save some money. I have steering wheel on left so it was a bit different to access the resistor. But it was still located on the right side. Thanks

    Hi mate, could this still be the issue if the blowers aren’t working at all? Rear blowers work fine just not the front.

      Hi there,
      Yes if your blower does not work at all that is another possible symptom of a bad resistor. The rear blower is a different circuit in these cars.

    Hello, what could be the problem with the citroen c4 grand picaso, when you open the doors, the air conditioner is activated without turning off the car, and when you turn off the car and close the doors, the air conditioner remains active for 1-2 minutes???!!! thank you

      Hi there, it is likely this issue that i show here in the video, ie the blower resistor.
      The issue you have described is exactly what was happening with this car, my aunt was texting me to say the car was running the fan even with the car locked. It will run for about 1-2 mins until the BSI shuts down the power to the interior electronics, but when you unlock the car the BSI powers all back up again. Try this heater resistor it should be the cause of your problem.

    ciao io ho una clio 3 volevo cambiare la resistenza ma è normale che i cavi del connettore della resistenza siano molto caldi?

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  9 месяцев назад

      Hi there, i am not too sure what way the clio 3 should be normally. However i would not be too surprised if the wires going to the resistor would be hot, especially if there are problems with the resistor.
      Ciao, non sono molto sicuro di come dovrebbe essere normalmente il clio 3. Tuttavia non sarei troppo sorpreso se i fili che vanno alla resistenza fossero caldi, soprattutto se ci sono problemi con la resistenza.

      Hi
      To be honest im not 100% sure if the C4 Picasso is different in that regard between LHD and RHD variants but i think it might not be

    Hi, thx for this video. Do you maybe know if the resistor is always places at the right side even if the stearing wheel is on the left side?

      Hi there
      I will be honest i dont know, you might have your glovebox to take out if the motor is still on the right side of the car, but i have never worked on any LHD cars to know what way PSA changes things. Only thing i would guess is they dont like moving stuff around behind the dashboard for RHD markets as the fuse box tends to stay on the left hence why we get such a small glovebox here. Anyhow if you do find out let me know as it would be handy for the next person who might ask.

      Hi, I have just disassembled the car. On LHD Cars the resistor is located behind the glove compartment.

      @@kisumo2245 Thanks for reporting back! I have a rattle in the motor on my car (LHD), but most sources online say that the fan/resistor is under the steering wheel. Turns out it's located on the left side on all models!

    Brilliant video mate, wondered if you could help, my citroen c4 grand picasso is a 2014 plate and the blowers started slowly dying and now dont work at all, was going to replace using your video, would it be the same type of pwrt regardless off the age difference? Thank you so much.
