I like to read Yahweh in the bible.
The first syllable Yah is also part of many biblical names and of HalleluYah. I find it regrettable that the Jews developed a taboo against pronouncing the name of God.

Both Hebrew and Arabic are found written without "vowels". But knowledge of both grammar and vocabulary is what allows speakers to know which vowel sounds occur in a given text. Eventually, diacritical marks were developed to facilitate proper pronunciation of words particularly religious texts.

@@michellemicallef3250 Michael is not Jesus 🤦🏻 Genesis 1:26 "Let US make man in OUR image" + John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word/Jesus was with God the Father in the beginning, and they spoke to eachother in Genesis 1:26
Jesus is not created, he is God incarcerate.
Jesus is not Michael the archangel. The Bible nowhere identifies Jesus as Michael (or any other angel, for that matter). Hebrews 1:5-8 draws a clear distinction between Jesus and the angels: “For to which of the angels did God ever say, ‘You are my Son; today I have become your Father’? Or again, ‘I will be His Father, and He will be my Son’? And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, ‘Let all God’s angels worship Him.’ In speaking of the angels He says, ‘He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.’ But about the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The hierarchy of heavenly beings is made clear in this passage-angels worship Jesus who, as God, is alone worthy of worship. No angel is ever worshiped in Scripture; therefore, Jesus (worthy of worship) cannot be Michael or any other angel (not worthy of worship). The angels are called sons of God (Genesis 6:2-4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7), but Jesus is THE Son of God (Hebrews 1:8; Matthew 4:3-6).
Michael the archangel is perhaps the highest of all the angels. Michael is the only angel in the Bible who is designated “the archangel” (Jude verse 9). Michael the archangel, though, is only an angel. He is not God. The clear distinction in the power and authority of Michael and Jesus can be seen in comparing Matthew 4:10 where Jesus rebukes Satan, and Jude verse 9, where Michael the archangel “dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy” against Satan and calls on the Lord to rebuke him. Jesus is God incarnate (John 1:1, 14). Michael the archangel is a powerful angel, but still only an angel.

It is quite interesting to me that people overlooked a specific answer to a specific question in Exodus 3:14. It’s a conversation between the I AM (Ahaya) and His servant (Moses). Lord and Elohim are titles not specific names. There is no earthly name that can grasp His infinitude. Therefore, I believe I AM THAT I AM is what He wanted us to know. The I AM in the flesh told us that He is “I AM” (John 8:58). He refers to Himself as the I AM the Way, Truth, Life, Good Shepherd, True Vine, Resurrection, etc. The most important thing is to have a personal relationship with Him through Ha’Mashiach (the Christ)[Matt. 7:22-23]. He, the I AM, is the Uncreated One. He is in a class by Himself (the Most High). Therefore, our finite minds will never be able to grasp or measure Him. I am satisfied with what He told Moses. The Egyptians had so many gods that Moses needed a name to distinguish the Most High from the other “elohim” (gods). If He would have said “He is the god of wisdom”, He would’ve left out that He is the god of love and so on! Therefore, He distinguished Himself by declaring that He is the “I AM THAT I AM”. He told Moses to tell His people that “I AM” (Ahaya) is sending you. That’s more than enough for me!! Shalom!

Great job highlighting a key passage (Ex. 3) and its historical context. "I AM" certainly stands out in ancient Egypt's polytheistic setting where gods were in control of limited domains.
There is overlap between "I AM" and "the LORD" because they are used interchangeably in Exodus 3 and they share certain letters in Hebrew. However, "the LORD" is explicitly identified as God's name. Here are three examples: (1) God tells Moses, "I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name, 'The LORD'" (Ex. 33:19). (2) "Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD- that you alone are the Most High over all the earth" (Ps. 83:18). "Then they will know that my name is the LORD" (Jer. 16:21). The language being taught is Eberith (aka Hebrew), but the script is Aramaic, originally a script adopted by the Assyrians (10th century BCE), then the Babylonians (8th century BCE), and eventually the captives of Yahudah (6th century BCE).
The Name of our Creator is spelled yod-hay-uau-hay (Yahuah, YHUH, H3068) is four vowels in a row. The niqqud marks are an invention of the sect of the Qaraim, the Masoretes of the 8th century CE, and are not found in any ancient scrolls such as the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Rules of men are imposed in many ways, and their success is mostly based on people believing in the men who keep repeating them over and over.
Men will "strain out a gnat" and yet swallow a camel. The true Eberith letters are pictographic symbols, but not the hieroglyphs being shown recently all over the Internet. Test everything you hear and beware of men's traditions (leaven).

It can be seen that in Classical Hebrew writing the words are all written in consonantal letters but whenever it is pronounced there are consonant letters that changed into vowel sounds. For example the ADNY (אדני ) that pronounce as Adonai. The word YHVDH or YHWDH the letters are similar with the tetragrammaton YHWH or YHVH except the letter Dalet or D of YHV(D)H. YHWDH is pronounced as YeH(u)D(aH) (not Yahwedah). The W or V and Hei in Yehudah become "u" and "ah".
It can be seen that in Hebrew grammar the letters Yod, Vav/Waw and Hei are vowel indicators if it is not the first letter in the syllable.
Yod or Y become [ i ] for pronouncing "AD(o)N(a)[ i ]" and the letter Vav or V become "u" and Hei or H become "ah" sounds for pronouncing YeH(u)D(aH). Some vowels were added to pronounce the Hebrew word. so the tetragrammaton is not the only one that can be said to have been written in Consonant letters. It can be divided into 3 syllables (open - open - close syllable) Y - H - VH .
The pronunciation Yah - Weh is the result of dividing the tetragrammaton into 2 syllables (close - close syllables), YH - WH with "a" and "e" but they cannot explain how or where they got those vowels. There are no ancient manuscripts with Jewish origin that prove the tetragrammaton was actually pronounced Yahweh with complete vowels (a & e). So how can it be said that it is accurate?
The Hebrew name YHVSA ( יהו שעַ ) is pronounced as Yehoshua (Yeshua in Aramaic) is the origin of the name JOSHUA and JESUS. The "YHV" ( יהוֹ ) of YeHo-ShuA is the initial of God's name that means (Jeho)vah is Salvasion or saves. - John 5:43.
So, the initial pronunciation of the tetragrammaton is given by pronouncing the hebrew name "YEHO", just add the VH to fully pronounce the name that Hei is often use for the sound "ah" of close syllable, like YeHuD(aH) יהודה , Yon(ah) יונה.
Y - H - VH (3rd syllable, the Vav is the first letter for VH). The first letter in syllable is consonant and the 2nd letter or last letter in syllable will become vowel sound for V(ah) it is not read as "uah" because in Hebrew grammar a syllable should have a Consonant + vowel (open syllable) or Consonant + vowel + Consonant (close syllable). There is no such, "vowel + consonant" in Hebrew grammar). Y - H- VH the 3rd syllable VH, the last Letter Hei or H is a vowel indicator for "ah", therefore the initial Yeho + vah = Yehovah.
You can read the Hebrew name Yehoshua in Hebrew Bible, the Tanakh. Just Google: "Joshua 1 in tanakh.

The name of God can be read "YEHOVAH" in Hebrew ( יְהֹוָה ) and in English is JEHOVAH.

    Ya'aqob - Jacob
    Yehudah - Judah
    Yosef - Joseph
    Yôḥānān - John
    Yĕrūshalayim - Jerusalem
    Yehoshua - Joshus / Jesus
The Aramaic name Yeshua (from Hebrew Yehoshua), the "Ye" is the initial of Yehovah that in English is Jehovah. Therefore, the English name Jesus, the "Je" is the initial of Jehovah. It is not from "Yah" of Yahweh because the name Jesus is not written as Yasus.
Jewish Hebrew scholar Dr. Nehemiah Gordon (holds a Master's degree in Biblical Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem) pronounce the name of God "YeHoVaH".

    ruclips.net/video/yeeA_Abd5Nk/видео.html&feature=share
The name of God in Tanakh can be read as Yehovah in Hebrew writing with complete vowels: Shava na (:) for sound "e" under Yod, so, Y + e = Ye. Cholam (•) for sound "o" above Hei, so, H + o = Ho. The Kamatz look like tiny (T) for "a" under Vav, so, V + a + H (last H) = VaH
Ye + Ho + VaH = is Yehovah
    that in English is JEHOVAH.
Just Google: "Isaiah 42:8 in Tanakh"
You will see the name written in Hebrew like this ( יְהֹוָה ). Middle portion in the first line of verse 8.

What God said in Exodus 3:15 will be fulfilled.
His name will not be lost, it will not be considered old, and it will not be replaced by another title or other name. It will definitely remain because God himself said:
    "this is My name FOREVER".
The name was given not only for the ancient generation, it was given for all generations including our generation and future generations because God said:
"This is my name forever; this is what ALL FUTURE GENERATIONS are to call me." - GNB
If you believe in God, you must trust Him that everything He says is true and it will surely fulfill.

Let me ask you some thing, if one thousand people believe something wrong and only one person believes the right, correct answer, does that mean the former party is correct because of quantity? No, of course not. Nehemia Gordon encourages his followers to prioritize quantity over quality. He didn't do as much in depth study as he claims. All the manuscripts Mr. Gordon refers to all feature Tiberian Hebrew diacritics. Every person who studies Hebrew knows about the Tiberian diacritical symbols on the name of God since it's the standard used for all printed editions of the Hebrew Bible. You don't need to be a scholar, you can pick up any copy of the Hebrew Bible at your local bookstore and it will feature the same material as the thousand manuscripts Nehemia has looked at. He claims that the quantity of manuscripts he has studied somehow proves the name 'Jehovah' correct, but quantity means nothing if they all tell the same story. If I have a fossil that proves the earth is X amount of years old, it makes no difference if I find 1000 of those same fossils. The debate is between whether the diacritics found on YHWH are adonay (lord in Hebrew) or the actual, real vowels of God's name. Finding 1000 manuscripts containing the name of God means absolutely nothing, in other words the evidence appears ambiguous, the more manuscripts one finds the same debate will still exist as to whether the vowels represent adonay or His name. Only a severely uneducated person that lacks any common sense would assert that just because he's looked at many manuscripts with the same information that it must mean it's true.
Professor Geoffrey Khan, Regius Professor of Hebrew at Cambridge University, teaches the Tiberian vowels on YHWH are in fact representative of the word 'adonay' or 'the lord'. Professor Khan has studied far more manuscripts than Mr. Gordon and even reconstructed the Tiberian pronunciation nearly single-handedly, the same pronunciation system whose diacritics are found on the '1000 MSS' studied by Mr. Gordon.
So my final question to you and anyone else who believes Mr. Gordon is this:
You say you trust Nehemia because he has studied 1000 MSS with God's name. BUT you're neglecting the very scholar who reconstructed the pronunciation system that is found on those 1000 MSS. Who are you going to believe, the man who says he just read them, or the man who not only read them but reconstructed what the other man simply just read? Let me tell you the truth, Mr. Gordon knows this and he's just duping all of you to get donations, is the only reasonable conclusion one can withdraw.

How about Yahavah? I found this explanation, but I'm not sure it's the right one: Yah = Exist - or to be of Father. Hava = Breath of life. Ahavah = love - or intimate affection. When you put all this together, then you will have Yahavah = Self existing Father of Love.

You are confusing Havah spelled with a Heth and havah spelled with a Hey. Those two Hebrew letters are similar, but they are still distinct and affect word meaning. havah means 'he lived', it's strictly a past tense verb. Havah, using Heth, means 'life' or 'living thing', a noun. The /y/ element is only used on verbs, and is a prefix expressing a third person male performing an action continuously with no specified end; it doesn't mean 'to exist', that would be the infinitive form which doesn't contain a /y/. Again, the verbal form 'exist' is 'havah' and 'existing thing' (noun form) is 'Havah' with Heth.
YHWH is the third person form of EHYEH (I will continue to be/I will never cease to exist) found in Exodus 3:14. So YHWH means 'he will continue being' or 'he will never stop existing'.
The full statement is EHYEH ASHER EHYEH 'I will never stop being what I currently am'. YHWH is just the shortened, third person form of that statement since Moses and the Israelites obviously would refer to God in third person.
The reason the second EHYEH is translated differently is because they belong to different parts of speech. Ther first is a verb, the second is a noun since nouns always come after the relative pronoun ASHER 'what/who'.

In the first book of the Bible in Genesis 2:7 it says:

      brother?
      Uncle?
      Cousin?
      Husband?
      No. They are titles.

      God has many titles:

      Lord
      God

Yehováh is not an 'educated guess'. It's a fact which, if you knew Hebrew you could figure out for yourself since God gives the meaning and spelling in a common Hebraism in Exodus 3:14 & 15 (very poorly translated in English!)
Fun fact: There is no 'J' in Hebrew so why the 'J'? Well, until recently the 'J' was never pronounced like a hard 'G' (which was why "Jeffrey" was spelled "Geoffrey".) It had the sound of the consonant form of 'Y' like in 'yellow'. So "Jehováh" is "Yehováh". They're pronounced the same and neither is a guess.
Look in a Bible around 1900 or before and Psalm 68:4 says "Jehovah". The known Hebraism in Exodus 3:14-15 is the reason. It never was and is "a guess". Gesenius admits to guessing. But why would he when it was there all along for any scholar to figure out? Why did he prefer his own 'guess' to the truth? Why did he not use God's Hebraism in Exodus like scholars before and after his day have done thousands of times? Maybe he wasn't as good at Hebrew as he could've been? Or maybe he didn't want to call God by a Jewish name. We may never know his reason for guessing but we DO know - by his own admission - that he guessed, that he never used the facts God Himself laid out in Exodus.

When Gesenius says he guessed he didn't mean it was an uneducated, uncalculated guess. There are many irregularities within languages. When Gesenius calculated the name Yahweh, he cross compared it with other words that had a similar inflection. He labeled it a 'guess' because he was also a scientist, a language scientist, and when a scientist guesses some thing it's always a very different standard than a non-scientists definition of guessing.
Back to the irregularities. Gesenius' guess was an educated one based on cross comparison with other words. If the name YaHWeH isn't irregular, than it should be correct. But since we can't go back in time and speak to ancient people who knew ancient Hebrew, we'll never know if YHWH was a regular or irregular verb.
If it's regular, it most likely is Yahweh as Yahweh follows the same inflectional vowel pattern as the word yishtaHaweh found in 2 Samuel 15:32. It's unlikely yishtaHaweh is an irregular form as irregularities are rare. YishtaHaweh means 'he bowed' but can also be expressed in the irrealis mood as 'may he bow', also known as the jussive voice, which is yishtaHu found in Genesis 18:2. The theophoric element YAHU found in Hebraic names such as Matisyahu (Matthew), Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) and Eliyahu (Elijah) etc is the irrealis form of YHWH. The longer, uncontracted form could represent both the realis and irrealis moods. To alleviate this ambiguity the longer form was contracted to express irrealis mood. So if we know the irrealis mood YAHU, we can compare it to another word in the irrealis that has the same vowel pattern, look at the longer form prior to contraction and we can simply plug in the vowels of the longer form into YHWH, thus forming Yahweh from the vowels of 'yishtaHaweh'. The reason yishtaHaweh has an /a/ vowel after the H whilst Yahweh doesn't is simply because of the difference between the Hebrew letters Heth and Hey. Heth was more emphatic which meant it could not go unpronounced without consequence. The ancient scribes resolved this issue by placing a vowel after it in certain words to ensure it was pronounced correctly. In Yahweh, this was not necessary as the letter Hey functions as a completely silent letter in the middle of words and was able to be neglected. A good example of this is the words Hayah and hayah. Hayah (with Heth) means 'life' but hayah (with Hey) means 'he was'. If I pronounce Hayah as hayah, it will change the meaning from 'life' to 'he was'. But if I completely omit the Hey from both words, their respective meanings would go unchanged. This is the difference between Heth and Hey. Since it is difficult to be precise, I have simply represented Hey with a lowercase h and Heth with an uppercase H with the exception of the actual names of the letters.

I didn’t mean for my response to show that I absolutely know His name. I simply am satisfied with what He gave Moses. I am satisfied with the Essence (spiritual being) behind the name given. I submit to the Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit) who teaches me about the character of this Essence. I study the scriptures to learn what pleases Him. I stand in awe of Him and seek to please Him daily. "Hei" pronunced hey is a window. By the way, what is a window used for? When you use a window you glance through it to look at something. I remember that Egyptian, Phoenician and Paleo Hebrew tetragrammats only had PHONETIC connotations and not exactly a spiritual meaning. With the advent of quadratic Hebrew with compound letters, it has rescued the tetragram from its origins and gives it more meaning than a sound of worship or prayers.
In the tetragram, in short, god of the bible is when hey hand delivers the essence of god ia through vav to another heu who is interpreted by the one who needs and this union of giving, giving, offering by hand who has the hand that does not have there the divinity of god is being established and justified for the creation of matter.
The rest of the past centuries are just SONORITY and there was no religious connotation that could really justify God's action.
Tetragrammaton is very deep and needs to be practiced and what matters least is its sound. I am what I am, I will be that I will be, verb to be, to exist DOESN'T TAKE ANYTHING of the essence of the true meaning of TETRAGRAMMATON and when the tetragrammaton is acted upon in practice there is an echo of audible sound throughout the universe and it echoes those who practice it without even knowing its sound in any language.
So if you can, if you have, material or not to give, donate, pass it on with feelinG of no return, you will be practicing tetragram and it is thus devotion of the god of the bible and not god sun, moon, fire, air, forest and etc.
Mysticism has a limit and does not need to have a lot of justification as long as good is done to your fellow man and yourself.

The Shva na (:) is sound "e" and Kamatz (T) is sound "a" therefore the name should be read "Yeh_vah" (with partial vowel of the name). Any explanation of the Tetragrammaton with Nikkud that never read the name together with the vowel sounds (Nikkud symbols) is misleading and lying.

    Yeheweh (aramaic)
Yeheweh is more accurate because the bible is usong the aramaic word hawah (to be) instead of the Hebrew ambivalent word hayah, so it will follow the rules of the aramaic grammar.
As a verb, thr name is YeHeWeH, as a noun, YeHeWaH.
YeHeWeH/ YeHeWaH - both are following the rules of grammar, makes grammaticaly sense and has a meaning (He is) and replace the word Adonai in the hebrew aaronic blessing with YeHeWaH.. you have a perfect ryme

    Please pardon my simple english:
For the sake of argument, given that today we know the exact (like how Moses pronounced the name) pronounciation.
Can we say that all people today, from different tribes can/should pronounce exactly the way Moses did?
For sure we all agree, that it is impossible for for a certain word/name to be pronounced in one manner by all people today.
Some/many people can never pronounce a certain word in the way other tribe speak.
Lesson: Pronounciation is not important. If it is, God would have preserved it until today.
What is important is we know the Tetragrammaton, and it is the Divine name, and we should use it, whatever pronounciation derived from it.

Thank you. Yes, the first part of God's name (Yah) is the last part of Hallelujah or Hallelu Yah, meaning "Praise Yah." Many words that we bring into English with a j, such as Jacob, Jerusalem, Jeremiah, had a y sound in ancient Hebrew so the Tetragrammaton probably begins with a y sound. In addition, even though we use a j in Hallelujah, we pronounce it as a y. You can read this post and the comments for more info. www.bible-bridge.com/gods-name-revealed/

The Yah found in hallelujah and theophoric names is actually a breakdown of Jow, the shortened form of Jeho from Jehovah, as in the name Jow-seph [Joseph means Jow/Jehovah adds (blessings to you)]. In a moment you'll see why I use a /w/ at the end of Jow. Jow, the form of the name of God in Joseph, was contracted from a dual syllabic pattern like YHW into a mono syllable YW. In the mono syllabic case YW, the /o/ from Jehovah simply is plugged in without issue. But, when using a dual syllabic pattern like YHW in other theophoric names such as Matisyahuw (Matthew) and Eliyahuw (Elijah), the /o/ from Jehovah must be broken up into the nearest neighboring vowels in order to retain the medial /h/ in YHW, to abide by the commandment that no text shall be changed in the scripture. The vowel /o/ in phonetics is called a mid-closed, rounded, back vowel, meaning it is pronounced with the jaw near shut, lips rounded and the tongue curled backwards. The two neighboring vowels to this sound, are the fully closed and fully open variants /u/ in 'flute' and /o/ in the British pronunciation of the word 'box'. So Yahu, Yo and Jeho are all equal to the YHW in YHWH. This is the etymology of 'Yah" in hallelujah and theophoric names. In addition, the final /h/ in YHWH is not utilized in these two forms of the Divine name since the final /h/ in Hebrew words is sometimes dropped due to their silence.
In 'Yahweh" it's completely of a different origin. This 'Yah' comes from the Hiphil verbal pattern or the causative case, inflected for 3rd person construct, which renders the tetragrammaton as meaning 'He causes existence' or 'He creates'. Although they both sound the same in English and are both spelled with an /a/ vowel, /a/ represents several sounds in English. In this case, the /a/ is the front, open, unrounded vowel as in the typical American pronunciation of 'box'. In Hebrew this vowel is called Patach. In the first case described previously, the vowel is called Qames and is like the British pronunciation of box, with the lips rounded. Both of these vowels were transliterated /a/ into English since the Latin alphabet doesn't have a unique symbol corresponding to each Hebrew vowel. Thus Yah from hallelujah can easily be confused with Yah in Yahweh.
For those who don't know, Jehovah is not His name. Jews found the name sacred as to not pronounce it, so instead the word 'Lord' in Hebrew (adonay) was said. Inserting the vowels of this word into the tetragrammaton is a device used to tell the reader to say 'Lord' instead. The reason Jehovah contains an /e/ as its initial vowel instead of /a/ like in 'adonay' is due to phonetic rules I won't go into, but can be found in any basic Hebrew grammar. The less frequent version of the device occurs with the vowels of the word for 'god' (elohim).
For those wondering, Yahweh was suggested by German linguist Wilhelm Gesenius within the last 150 years. And this pronunciation is not found anywhere in the Biblical text. The only reason I don't support it fully is because the supposed first person variant of Gods' name in Exodus 3:14 is not causative according to the inflection by the Tiberian Masoretes. And the Koren Jerusalem Bible, revered as the best translation of the Tanakh to date since its inception the mid 20th century, translates it as 'I will ever be what I now am'. Rather than 'I am the one which causes existence' or some thing along that line.

@@destructo3915 You seem to know alot, How then would you pronounce the name in English?

    • @destructo3915
      @destructo3915 2 года назад

@@joshuam3903 I would use the name Yahweh. I've learned a lot of new information since I posted that comment. Yahweh actually isn't a hiphil (causative) construction. In Biblical Hebrew, the causative and the qal (simple meaning) sometimes overlap in pronunciation. Thus yahweh could mean 'he causes to be' or 'he will continue being'. Since ehyeh (I AM) is qal simple, YHWH, which is the third person form of ehyeh, should also be qal simple.
But the ultimate evidence comes from two Hebrew words. וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ 'yishtaHu' from Genesis 18:2 and יִשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה 'yishtaHaweh' from 2 Samuel 15:32. These have the same inflectional patterns as Yahu/Yahweh.
Yahu is attested in the scriptures by theophoric names as I mentioned previously; 'Matisyahu (Matthew), Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah), etc. Yahu is the irrealis mood of Yahweh, more specifically the jussive voice. The jussive indicated a wish, and utilized the same form as the non-jussive. Thus yahweh in Hebrew could mean 'he will continue to be' or 'let him be'. Likewise 'yishtahaweh' could mean he will bow' or 'let him bow'. To distinguish these forms in meaning, the regular verbal form was contracted. So yahweh became yahu, and yishtahaweh became yishtahu. The reason yishTAHAWEH has an extra /a/ vowel but YAHWEH does not, is simple due to the Hebrew letter Heth. In Hebrew there are two letters that sound like H in English; Heth and Hey. Yahweh uses Hey, yishtahaweh uses Heth. The Heth is a slightly more emphatic sound, which meant if it went unpronounced, or pronounced incorrectly, it could affect the meaning of the word e.g hayah with Hey meant 'he lived' whilst Hayah with Heth meant 'life'. Therefore the ancient Hebrew scholars inserted an extra short /a/ vowel after Heth to ensure it was pronounced and didn't become silent like a regular H sound (Hey) does when it's in the middle of a word like in Yahweh; there is no difference between Yahweh and Yaweh.
To conclude, this is why scholars believe the name is Yahweh. It's the only pronunciation that actually has proof rooted in Biblical times. Theophoric names such as Yosef, Yoram, Yoshua, etc also derive from yahu. Hebrew word stress is ultimate, meaning it usually occurs at the end of words. Due to this, sound in the beginning of words were pronounced faster and consequentially contracted. Thus Yahu, over time, contracted to Yaw, then to Yo. That is why whenever Yahu occurs at the end of words, the elongated form yahu is preserved, but if occurring at the beginning of words, it was shortened further to Yo and sometimes Yeho. This is another confusion that leads people to believe the name is Jehovah. Some Hebrew names contain 'Yeho' word initially. So some say, is this not Yehovah/Jehovah? But in reality, the original pronunciation, say, of the name Joshua, was Yahushua, with the irrealis mood jussive Yahu. Over time, the pronunciation, as aforementioned, became Yo due to Hebrew stress rules, but the spelling retained as YHW+shua for Joshua. As a result, the ancient Tiberian masoretes orthographically represented YHW+shua as Y'hoshua, although they did not pronounce it this way, since it was unlawful to change the spelling which would break the commandment of changing the scriptures. I represented Y'hoshua with an apostrophe because the Tiberian masoretes did not spell this name with an /e/ vowel. Fast forward several hundred years to the time of King James in 1611, and ENGLISH speakers inserted an /e/ in place of where the apostrophe is, confusing in the entire English world into believing that Yeho found in names like Yehoshua and Yehoram and Yehoshaphat were in fact related to the name Yehovah.
      Remember,
Yehovah= An English spelling of the vowels of 'adonay' (lord) inserted into YHWH to signify that God's name is not to be pronounced but he is to be called LORD/MASTER.
Yeho= Found in Hebrew names, really represents YAHU, the irrealis jussive form of Yahweh that became further contracted to Yaw-->Yo over time due to Hebrew stress rules. The ancient scribes, when they invented the vowel points to go along with the Hebrew consonant-only text, could not reflect the syllable YO without changing the historical spelling YHW, which originally represented YAHU. This forced them to spell it as close as possible to YO without disturbing the fixed spelling YHW by representing it as Y'ho. English speakers interpreted this as YEHO, when in reality it was meant to be pronounced YO, again, to represent the older form YAHU prior to it's contraction.
It's very similar to the way English works. Take the word 'laugh'. In older times, this word was pronounced with a /gh/ sound, like when one gargles. Over time the pronunciation changed but the spelling remained the same. This is essentially what happened with words that began with YAHU. Over time it became YO, but the spelling was still YHW. English speakers misinterpreted this and transliterated these names as YEHO in English Bibles, causing the English speaking world to interpret this as false evidence for the name Jehovah.

    Conclusion
The personal name of the infinite God is elusive-we have it and yet we don't have it.. What else would you expect?
    We have solution!
Could the name of Jesus-“God with us”-represent God’s disposition in its entirety? Could it fully articulate God? If man says that God can only be called Jesus and may not have any other name because God cannot change His disposition, these words are blasphemy indeed! Do you believe that the name Jesus, God with us, alone can represent God in His entirety? God may be called by many names, but among these many names, there is not one that is able to encapsulate all of God, not one that can fully represent God. And so, God has many names, but these many names cannot fully articulate God’s disposition, for God’s disposition is so rich that it simply exceeds man’s capacity to know Him. There is no way for man, using the language of mankind, to encapsulate God fully. Mankind has but a limited vocabulary with which to encapsulate all that they know of God’s disposition: great, honored, wondrous, unfathomable, supreme, holy, righteous, wise, and so on. So many words! This limited vocabulary is incapable of describing the little that man has witnessed of God’s disposition. Over time, many others added words that they thought better able to describe the fervor in their hearts: God is so great! God is so holy! God is so lovely! Today, human sayings such as these have reached their peak, yet man is still incapable of clearly expressing himself. And so, for man, God has many names, yet He has no one name, and this is because God’s being is so bountiful, and the language of man so impoverished. One particular word or name does not have the capacity to represent God in His entirety, so do you think His name can be fixed? God is so great and so holy, yet you will not permit Him to change His name in each new age? Therefore, in every age in which God personally does His own work, He uses a name that befits the age in order to encapsulate the work that He intends to do. He uses this particular name, one that possesses temporal significance, to represent His disposition in that age. This is God using the language of mankind to express His own disposition. Even so, many people who have had spiritual experiences and have personally seen God nevertheless feel that this one particular name is incapable of representing God in His entirety-alas, this cannot be helped-so man no longer addresses God by any name, but simply calls Him “God.” It is as though the heart of man is full of love and yet also beset with contradictions, for man does not know how to explain God. What God is is so bountiful that there is simply no way to describe it. There is no single name that can summarize God’s disposition, and there is no single name that can describe all that God has and is. If someone asks Me, “Exactly what name do You use?” I will tell them, “God is God!” Is that not the best name for God? Is it not the best encapsulation of God’s disposition? This being so, why do you spend so much effort seeking after the name of God? Why should you cudgel your brains, going without food and sleep, all for the sake of a name? The day will arrive when God is not called Jehovah, Jesus, or Messiah-He will simply be the Creator. At that time, all the names that He has taken on earth shall come to an end, for His work on earth will have come to an end, after which His names shall be no more. When all things come under the dominion of the Creator, what need has He of a highly appropriate yet incomplete name? Are you still seeking after God’s name now? Do you still dare to say that God is only called Jehovah? Do you still dare to say that God can only be called Jesus? Are you able to bear the sin of blasphemy against God? You should know that God originally had no name. He only took on one, or two, or many names because He had work to do and had to manage mankind. Whatever name He is called by-did He not freely choose it Himself? Would He need you-one of His creations-to decide it? The name by which God is called is a name that accords with what man is capable of apprehending, with the language of mankind, but this name is not something that man can encompass. You can only say that there is a God in heaven, that He is called God, that He is God Himself with great power, who is so wise, so exalted, so wondrous, so mysterious, and so almighty, and then you can say no more; this little bit is all you can know. This being so, can the mere name of Jesus represent God Himself? When the last days come, even though it is still God who does His work, His name has to change, for it is a different age.

The Aramaic term for HaShem is Shema. In Aramaic, HA (the) went after the word, instead of before like Hebrew. So the original Aramaic shem-ha contracted to shema. This is why scholars say Hebrew is really Aramaic. The Samaritan Jews also pronounced YHWH as 'sh'ma' instead of HaShem. There are some places in the Tiberian Masorah that spell YHWH without a Holem /o/ vowel. This leads some to believe the Tiberian Jews also practiced the same thing and called God sh'ma over HaShem since their native language was also Aramaic.

For one, definitely not Jesus. J wasn’t around during Messiahs day so I know that much and not to refer to him as such. Thank you for this though, interesting!

For one... that is not the name of God.... this is "אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה"...... Exodus 3:14 is the name God Himself Gave Moses, and only found in that one verse....
