This is honestly my favorite maddie solo! It's so cute and corky I just love it and also the thing she does with her feet close to the end that was on point! Her emotions in this was so cute! And did I mention it was corky lol!

Maddie is a spectacular dancer but she's so quick and its almost like she doesnt let herself breathe for a second or finish. But again she's an incredible dancer.

I LOVE THIS SOLO!! It's so cute and just beautiful! I also think it's based off Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz since 1, the costume looks like Dorothy, 2, the dance story is just like the story from Wizard of Oz, and 3, at 0:52 you can see Maddie click her heels together twice!

In Maddie’s solo “I’m already there” Chloe is so sweet, she says “since me and Maddie are always competing, she inspires me to become a better dancer”it’s just so sweet how much Chloe supports Maddie like that, and that saying just proves how sweet there relationship as friends are. I don’t really have anything else to say, except that Chloe is so sweet and supports Maddie so much. ♥️

In my opinion, Chloe's technique was better than Maddie's at this competition but Maddie's choreo was head and shoulders above Chloe's. I agree with Christi and if Chloe had better choreo, she would've won in a second.
You also have to take into consideration that Maddie was in a younger age division, so the judges would be harsher on Chloe’s technique than they’d be on Maddie’s. Therefore, Maddie still could’ve won even if Chloe had the same choreography- she’s almost 2 years younger and her technique level is just a little bit below Chloe’s.
@@pric4799 chloe and maddie were in fact in the same age division and would've been judged by the same standards :)

what’s the difference between lyrical and contemporary?
Good question !
Lyrical is normally softer, more graceful, and more focused on technique. It’s basically a more acro filled ballet style.
Contemporary is kind of a perfect in between of ballet, jazz, and acro. It’s normally much faster and relies on emotions and storytelling abilities.
In this, it was contemporary because it was much more fast paced, had a lot of acro movements, and was based around a story. Maddie told a story through her dance and the dance itself was fast paced and upbeat.

Omg my mom is a dance teacher and she did this song for a group number years ago around the time this came out and she got accused by a the other dance teacher in our town aka our Cathy 😂 that she copied dance moms (it was completely different then this) this is so funny the I found the dance years later
The same dance teacher also accused one of our lyrical groups last year of being in the wrong level/age group even though they were in the right one
I live this solo so much, but what was wrong with their cameras that day😭 its so blurry and chloes was too

I think in this particular solos, it was more about body expressions than facials. Her body expressions were really nice and her movements corresponded beautifully to the song and the story.

That’s your opinion. Maddie scored well at the improv at TDA, a part of the competition that looks for body expression, technique, and storytelling. That’s not an opinion.
@@barbiedoll696 her body expressions are not all the same, please- 😭 the other og girl’s were, though. she used different styles and phrasing for different characters and choreo. but that’s what set her apart - fuller and more textured, nuanced movement from her core, that extended outwards + fluidity, layered musicality that saw her hitting the main beats & backbeats and flowing through the melody, etc. literally every single one of the girls for the first three seasons reused the same face for a certain style of dance as well. hers got really varied, starting in S4. and here, it’s literally just a pure smile.
