The first time, it seems there's only one of each instrument that plays it, but the second time around, ALL instruments play it, making it that much more powerful. It's like a climatic part of a fight. First it's soft, but resolute. Then it strikes with all the resolve it has, and then some.
if im not mistaken at 3:25 the (your best friend) leitmotif differs by the brass in the back end playing to the rhythm and at 3:36 a brass section plays the leitmotif with the strings and the strings play at fortissimo creating that impact effect. its an amazing piece
There is something special about Undertale. Toby Fox treat it differently and perhaps create a concept of what a game is differently from other devs(if that sentence doesn’t makes sense sorry I’m Vietnamese). When playing Undertale, you’re are not allowed (at all) to bent the game’s reality in your own hand unlike other games (as for when you kill Toriel then reload your save file Flowey will remind you of your sin). That is what makes it special. This game is so meaningful yet so entertaining, the music, the humor, everything is just great. When you finish the True Pacifist ending you can’t really help but sob like a 3-year-old baby. Thank you Toby Fox for creating this masterpiece
Yea. I live how it sees the world from the "enemy's" point of view. In most games, like mario or ff7 ect. you just kill enemies without a second thought, but hndertale makes you look at things in a whole new way and hear the monsters stories. Even undyne, who tries killing you mercilesly, seeming like a "boss" like the koopalings in mario games, can become a friend. Toby really did make something amazing

Hopes and Dreams is personally up there with _The Apex of the World_ from Fire Emblem Three House in terms of favorite boss soundtracks that use leitmotifs to fulfill a deep sense of triumph over a long journey that's just almost over. You're nearly at the finish line, and nobody can stop you now. Glad to see its official orchestral concert pull off the drama and intensity of it.

what i meant was why did this guy who ripped it from the stream allow it to lose so much quality to the point where it's drastically noticeably quieter than the original version? listening to a playlist and then having to ramp up the volume whenever this comes on is annoying
