so im deployed right now, an i want to get a bike when i get home. i found your channel last week, and ive watched a BUNCH of your videos man. very helpful! can't wait to get home and get started!
Sup bro another straight up video I see,I just wanted to say that I just turned 60 and when I was much younger small bikes where ok because the traffic in many places was not so dense.Times have changed though. My first ever bike was an AMF SX-175 remember those?I rode it so much on the streets and trails of those times I actually wore it out and still have the engine in my garage. That was back in the mid 70's and now it is 2016,a lot of time has come and gone. Now all of the trails from building are poof gone and a lot of beer can cars are cruising with a cell phone stuck to them like they need it to live, but that is another story.anyway be safe stay strong and I wish you many more years of safe trips and videos peace I am out.
Preach man, Respect to those who actually started on a small CC motorcycles! I started on the CBR500R. A lot of CCs but didn't have a lot of balls, it was a fun bike.
I'm CBR 1000RR fan I say you're right Honda does need to come out strong with their 1000RR and I thank and enjoy watching all you videos, thanks for keeping it real.
@CycleCruza just wait another 6 months or so. They'll bring in the 350RR(320cc ~ 42-44ps). This 38ps 250RR is for the R25/Ninja 250 markets only. You'll get a bigger displacement model in the countries where the R3 and the Ninja 300 sell instead of their 250cc siblings. I'd say Tokyo Motor Show in October this year or EICMA next year would be the time. It might be showcased along with the 2017 Fireblade.
ok let me share with you guys what i know cuz i talked with a Honda administration guy in Europe. The new CBR1000RR : - will be around 200 HPs - will have lots of electronics - will beat the new R1 and S1000RR ! - The engine will NOT be a V4 but an inline 4 as always. The reason why Honda wasted all this time is to get to 2017 which is going to be the 25th anniversary of the Fireblade. You remember the 2012 cosmetic change? That was for the 20th anniversary ;) Another Honda guy this time from their dealership told me that the bike might come out even before the end of this year. The info is super exciting so lets wait and see :)
Honestly between my 370 pound or so Honda CBR1000RR and my 500 pound Honda 125 Elite Deluxe... the scooter is way more FUN to cruise and ride everywhere. But to be actually thrilled like on a damn Cedar Point roller coaster everyday... I hop on the CBR1000RR with that ridiculous take off at the light every time where the back wheel skips a beat over the bumps in the road.... zooom! Turning between the super sport and the scooter, sitting down on the scooter versus being in a like ninja balanced on the pegs aggressively. Big difference in the kind of fun.
yo cruza! Like your vid man, like how you explain things, shows how you appreciate bike. btw I am from Indonesia. Like it when you mention Indonesia, it sounds like you were a native here. And you are right, Honda is launching the bike last June, in 2 types, ABS and non ABS, price around $5,5k to $6k and its gonna be awsome here man. Keep rolling! Really love your vids man.
It's a shame the 250RR probably won't make it to the US, it could be a good choice for many folks. I bought a 2015 CB500F earlier this year, and I've been really happy with it. I had a Yamaha 250 cruiser before, decent bike but the 500 is more practical, much quicker, and still gets the same mileage.
CC! Legit motovlog as ALWAYZZ! Thx for the info and pics of the new cbr 600 rr...a few months ago I chkd Honda's site and that 2016 250cbr looked almost like a scooter IMO. These 2017s lookkkk super nice! GJ for them. You mentioned the KTM rc 390... Actually today I saw one parked near the building I work in and mannnnnnnn was it a BEAST! I actually walked around it to look lol. Freakin beautiful bike!
I ride a R6 and I've been on the fence of starting to race after riding on the track couple times now. Which I agree with you on the small bikes is where its at. Now I'm considering getting an R3 but I really wanted an R1 before my track days.
Kudos for correct foot placement on the sport bike. I see so many riders around here with their heel on the peg and foot hanging out into the air. Both feet. I always wonder how they take the twisties like that.
I have heard of several experienced riders selling their 600 and 1000 supersport bikes and getting 300cc bikes for the street. The reason is twofold, first of all they are cheaper to ride, insure and maintain, secondly you can experience the full potential of a 300cc sport bike on the street without breaking the law. Try riding a CBR600RR at full throttle all the way to redline in the first 3 gears in front of a cop, you will probably lose your license. You can do it on a 300 without an issue.
thanks for giving your thoughts on the cbr250rr! im looking to sell my R25 to get the new CBR250RR because it looks so much better than the r25 to me. however I am worried that I want to uograde to a 600cc bike again sooner. but so far the R25 has been really fun for me.
When I 1st saw that the 250rr was being resurrected for next year, my heart skipped a beat....I was getting the impression of the return of that I4, 40hp engine which screams at some 19k revs, just like back in the 90s! So when you said parallel twin I was sooo disappointed! I hate the sound of twins man! I3, I4 or V4 for me as far as sound goes! But the aesthetics of the new 250rr isnt bad tho.
Yeah my 2012 cbr1000rr will probably be faster. lol All Honda can do is make the new 2017 cbr1000rr lighter to appeal to riders., otherwise it will probably not be much faster power wise.
I'm a huge fan of smaller bikes because you can hammer the throttle but I get sketched out by the small rear tires. I ride an 1198s and the rear is a 190. The 190 feels rock solid through turns and its hard to give that up haha
I heard that all the talented/aggressive engineers at Honda were shipped to work on Honda Jet (airplane) projects. Maybe they have come back as the aircraft was certified now?
Love the smaller bike's due to that its more fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slowly , theres no roads that you can open up bigger fast bikes but you can screw the nuts off small bikes and they are a lot more forgiving when you make bad judgments
Honda just pulled a sneak attack with this bike, the shit looks amazing, aesthetically blows all the other sub 500cc bikes out of the water, depending on price, I predict it will be a big seller for them..just when you thought Honda fell asleep at the wheel..bam! What a pleasant surprise!
+ if you live in a city or at least dont ride highway too much, there's nothing that keeps up with the agility of small light 300ish cc bikes! Playful, agile, plenty powerful for city riding, and more comfortable still than supersports. People really need to not look at them as beginner bikes, but small lightweight agile funbikes :) and yes that 250rr does look sexy indeed!
I've been waiting for this little bike since they showed the prototype last year (or beginning of this year?), and hopefully I'll be getting one in a couple of years, made in Indonesia, gotta make sure it works before buying! Unless they'll make the 300cc version in Japan then I'll be a happy camper!
Allthough that tune is moderate, some one pushed vtr 250 to 35Hp and thats Pushing its limits amn beyond. even at stock it good fun, and tuned its just more fun (moah accuracy on throttle, acceleration etc)
Same as my 650, I'm in 6th gear and I overtake a car just to find myself in jail time speeds! I won't sell my 650's but I'd love to have this new Honda so I can grab it by the neck and not worry!!
Honestly, for street riding, a lightweight quick bike that reaches speeds to up 100 mph is all that is needed. Lighter bikes are fun in the twisties. I love throwing my wr250r around in the twisties, so light.
The 2016 Honda CB500F and the NC700/750X look awesome so I'm not sure about your not new & exciting comment. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)
I have a 2015 Yamaha R3. I'd have rather gotten Honda but, the R3 was just a better purchase. Hearing that Honda may have a 350 coming makes me want to sell the R3 for that!
Nicely done 👍. I saw the factory video from Honda in Indonesia about the CBR250RR the engine is 38 hp and its fly by wire. Its 347 lbs wet. That single twin exhaust is sick. However, I did hear the bike will be here 6 months after its release there. That bike is off the hook. The problem is the price its projected around 75 to even 8k. Obviously, the comparable 300s Yamaha, Kawasaki an KTM which is a little bit higher than the prior two are still in the 5k range. Anyway yeah, this is my comment about this topic. Keep em right side up.👍✌👈🌞🌴😎 Fla.
Yo Cruza, any hope for the CBR600rr?? What do you think? Im looking to get one 2013+ but do you think honda has something up their sleeves for the MidWeight bike? Should I wait? Are the newer CBR600RR models really that bad compared to its competitors??
No middleweight for anyone. Triumphs going 800cc, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki are considering pulling out their 600s after 2017 too. Here's what will happen. Honda will launch the new Fireblade with a bit more power, less weight, some electronic gadgets and retain the price to some extent to make it an affordable alternative to the 600RR(lightweight), while they later go all balls out and bring a track specific RVF1000 V4 superbike for the rich folks who can afford a litre class $25-30k track machine.
The 250 rr was never stated to NEVER come to the states honda said it will be released FIRST in Indonesia as it was built by {team-honda-Indonesia} as well as opening up a new market that didn't exist before-(the 250rr will be the largest displacement motorcycle ever to be released in indonesia. Give it time honda is well aware of the massive excitement the 250 rr has created and you can bet that honda will not only release the 250rr in the states but contunue to release awesome bikes from this year onward. Honda is on a roll with the redesigned 500r- grom -250rr and fireblade(not yet released but will be unveiled November). Also you should really look at the electronic package on the 250rr its amazing for a 250 it has a built in lap timer-gear indicator- traction control- rider modes and a whole host of new features it just a badass bike. not gonna lie im selling my 300 the day this comes out here.
There's no real word on if the 250rr is coming to the states but that doesn't mean it wont in some form. Its a trend i've been noticing recently. These companies release entirely newer models overseas and if the demand and sales are high, they bring them stateside. Kawasaki shouldve waited when they released the er6n. The US wasnt ready for the naked class but now nakeds and smaller displacement bikes are everywhere. I honda can get past all of that legal crap with piaggio, I think their 2017/2018 lineup will be awesome. I would love to get my hands on a neowing.
CC, How do you feel about the Suzuki DR650s (or even the 650 dual sport class alone)? It's heavy; people say it's an old man's bike. It's also adored by many and awarded bike of the decade twice (I think). Compared to a 200cc dual sport, the DR650S is capable highway use and if ridden well can dominate off road If I ever got one I'd do some scrambler mods and try to lighten her up while adding HP
well you're not wrong, america market would be 300~350 cc, you guys would probably receive later than us in SEA region, the 250cc market here is selling like hot cake, but there is a rumor that suzuki might make an inline 4 for the 250cc market, but then its just a rumor we have to wait and see
Hot 🔥 🔥. Honda finally woke up after your vid. They have eyes out here 👀 lurking these MotoVloggers like you. Trying to dissect what us Riders want to see out here in the streets! I do agree though about bikes today being more tamed due to emissions and stuff. The supersports in the 80's-2003 where built to kill any who didnt understand the basics of proper throttle control. Wrestler Texas Tornado lost a foot due to a 80s motorcycle accident. And actor Gary Busey had a real fucked up day back in the 80's.
+CycleCruza lol Busey was channeling his inner Tom Cruise from Top Gun. But Drugs and Alcohol played rolls in *said names* of Motorcycle riders incidents. Side note for all the younger riders out there, RIDE SOBER!. You automatically get your natural euphoria just from riding a bike like CC said some years ago, no need to add any substance boosters to it!
You're exactly right, that's why I want a 2018 Yamaha RZ450 fuel-injected, water-cooled two-stroke twin. 85rwhp, 50lbs @10,500 ---350lbs curb wt--Two strokes are cheaper to build and now can be low emission. YAHAMA: please build the RZ450 for the US market. Or just bring back the old RZ350 - the two-stroke must return!
I've got a question. I'm getting a CBR 300r and my dealership has a deal that when you buy this bike, you can bring it back when your ready to upgrade in about a year. When you bring it back you get what you paid for the first bike to pay for the second bike. So if I buy a 300 for $4500 I can bring it back a year later and get a CBR 500 for what ever that cost minus the price of the 300, $4500. So should I do that or buy off of craigslist?
The bike will be available in the end of December in Indonesia . But.My country , in Japan is going to be about next summer . Japan is always sales slow .
I think that 250 looks really awesome. If that was a pic of the new 1000, I really like that too. I like the red white and blue with the gold wheels. Maybe Honda has been listening to you. To me the trick is that if Honda is going to get their head out of their ass and do something cool, they have to do it first. Don't wait for someone else to lead the way. It's funny I just remembered way back when I was a kid, Hondas slogan was "follow the leader." You gotta do it first to be the leader. Like Kawasaki with the supercharged h2... huge risk, but totally kicks ass. Now everyone else is forced to follow.
Honda needs to fire all of the old engineers and designers on their team and bring new young engineers with energy and start pumping out some motorcycles everybody wants like Yamaha is doing.
What I want to see is a high compression 400cc V4 bike that is as light as this 250, and revs to 18,000 rpm. Ti MotoGP style exhaust, Ti valves and rods, Ohlins suspension, carbon bodywork, made in the USA by Japanese people, and then I'd buy it, lol. Thing would scream like an F1 car from the late 70's on the straights. Mmmm :D
Personally I feel like they're making these small cc bike closer to the track performance than the higher cc bikes. Most of these higher cc bikes are from from track related performance.#keepumcoming#myopinion
Lol I couldn't help but wait for a deer to step out on you. Where I live, it's very very possible. As much as you were carrying on with your hands off the bars, I was like "man this dude is just asking for it" lol
the prove that a small bike can keep with a 1000, there is a guy called schaaf, with a cb500, really getting close a Z1000SX, in straight lines the kawa just runs far away, but in the corners he keeps up, the video is called DAVID vs. GOLIATH - Z1000SX & CB500 and its impresive how a 50~hp bike can handle the z1000
Hey brother, I just came back from watching your video where you talk about how 1000 is too much for the streets. So what made you change your mind on that?
Saw the specs for the cbr250rr. Pretty underwhelming tbh. Pretty much on par with with r3 and ninja 300. They should have made it a triple at least. At least it looks good.
2 stroke machine are the real speed demon. Check out Aprillia RS250 if you can still find one. Sorry but I'm old school ;) If the 250RR is really good, maybe I should get one, just for the looks alone. Its a killer looking machine old school or not haha
I really think honda will pull through and bring the 350cc version to the U.S they got a real winner here with this bike. If they just keep everything the same but larger engine it will sell like hot cakes.
In my opinion, the gsxr 1000 k5/k6 is still the best liter-bike ever build - it´s lighter than any new bike (193kg full) and she still smokes the newest liter bikes up to 9000rpm - the bmw rr, by the way, is a copy of it!
Hey cyclecruza my bad ii might have described the cover in a wrong way i meant the white odorless cover you used in the bug out van .... The one that kept the van not smelling like the bike ....thanks brother
CBR 250rr looks amazing! since I past my full test last month I'm moving over to an MT07 which I'm picking up on Saturday can't wait.
GRATZZZZ!
that 250 looks better than the new 500r man
How is it?
+SpookyWut it's an amazing machine having that mid range power feels good and very smooth to ride.
Only if the 250rr was an inline 4 like the older models
I was hoping it was :(
the problem on older 250cc is that their valve size, because the cc is small the valve size is tiny, bending and broken valve is pretty normal
that would be amazing, like the old cbr 250rr
Sounds better with the grunt of the parallel engine. Sounds like a G8 by Pontiac.
i have a CBR 400 Nothing gone wrong at all
The new cbr 2017 looks like wifey material
agree. Not enough aggression look 4 me.
you meant the 1000 he showed in the video?
+Daniel Schlegel yes
yea, it looks shait, i hope honda doesnt ess up the new fireblade. i want that bike in the future
It seems like these starter bikes are getting better and better
so im deployed right now, an i want to get a bike when i get home. i found your channel last week, and ive watched a BUNCH of your videos man. very helpful! can't wait to get home and get started!
And last thing man, it's awesome that you link all your gears usually some of the big motovlogger don't link shit. Thanks for that man!
Just got my 2015 ninja 300se, and that bike is so much fun! Nothing wrong with the smaller bikes. 1st bike, cyclecruza got me riding!

Another Honda guy this time from their dealership told me that the bike might come out even before the end of this year. The info is super exciting so lets wait and see :)
the way he says "liter bike" looool
?
Lee-Tur bikes lol
Lots of people confuse it with "leader bike" if you don't pronounce the "t."

CycleCruza lol xd

Don't care about the 1000... But i'm all over the 250rr.

LETS GO FOR A RIDEEEEEEEE *VROOM* *VROOM* *VRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM*
hoping kawasaki makes some crazy supercharged 300cc bike with 636 suspension and clip ons
Yo cruza if the 2017 cbr1000rr look as badass as the cbr250, you should definitly get it! that new desing is HOT as hell
the best part about the 2017 CBR1000RR is........another R!!!! THE CBR....ONE-THOUSAND...DOUBLE R....R...R...AARRRRRRRR
Hey Cycle cruza. You doing a great job I always enjoy your videos. 250rr looks good I hope it will make it to South Africa.
It's a shame the 250RR probably won't make it to the US, it could be a good choice for many folks. I bought a 2015 CB500F earlier this year, and I've been really happy with it. I have never liked honda bikes before, but that is the most beautiful A2 sportsbike I have ever seen
All said and done, I'm still in love with your Honda CBR 1000 RR :)
Kudos for correct foot placement on the sport bike. I see so many riders around here
with their heel on the peg and foot hanging out into the air. Both feet. I always wonder how they

This man is my inspiration to ride

The Grom is fun as hell, you can drag knees in the neighborhood streets.
To me I think that Yamaha needs to make a wr450x and wr450r
Seems like it will never happen, meanwhile I having a lot of fun on my modded wr250r.
CycleCruzaaaaaaa! Always with the valid and good points !
Honda made a cbr250rr back in the 80s and 90s. Back then it was a parallel 4 engine with a 20k redline
thanks for giving your thoughts on the cbr250rr! im looking to sell my R25 to get the new CBR250RR because it looks so much better than the r25 to me. however I am worried that I want to uograde to a 600cc bike again sooner. but so far the R25 has been really fun for me.

Whaaat, CBR250rr 2017, COOL dude. ;)
Yes! The video I've been waiting for!
Problem with a new Fireblade is that it will have to comply with euro 4 which will cripple the performance.
Yeah my 2012 cbr1000rr will probably be faster. lol All Honda can do is make the new 2017 cbr1000rr lighter to appeal to riders., otherwise it will probably not be much faster power wise.
the smaller bikes are much more fun especially in the turns, because you can crank the hell out of the throttle.
"Fly by Wire"-Throttle. Haha you made my day once again :D Let's hope it comes to europe at least so I got another bike to love :D
I'm a huge fan of smaller bikes because you can hammer the throttle but I get sketched out by the small rear tires. I ride an 1198s and the rear is a 190. The 190 feels rock solid through turns and its hard to give that up haha
lol I blaze through corners on my dual sport knobbies on my wr250r and FUN, no problems.
+CycleCruza yeah I have seen you do some crazy stuff in some of your vids lol maybe I should get a dual sport!
I heard that all the talented/aggressive engineers at Honda were shipped to work on Honda Jet (airplane) projects. Maybe they have come back as the aircraft was certified now?
That bike is gonna be super sweet! Peace from Indonesia!
Best motorcycle channel eva!!!!
Love the smaller bike's due to that its more fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slowly , theres no roads that you can open up bigger fast bikes but you can screw the nuts off small bikes and they are a lot more forgiving when you make bad judgments
Hot but they really need to make a 300cc+ version as their current 400cc class is too heavy weighing just a tad under the 600cc class.
They need to bring out something between the A2 bikes and the Supersports that looks just as mean... the ideal basis would be the 650 range...
I ride a 750 but that new cbr 250 looks futuristically sexy and agressive. Alot to like about lighter smaller cc bikes
+ if you live in a city or at least dont ride highway too much, there's nothing that keeps up with the agility of small light 300ish cc bikes! Playful, agile, plenty powerful for city riding, and more comfortable still than supersports. How do you think the CBR 250RR will compare to the CBR 500R ?
Already have Cbr250rr...2009 make.
its called VTR 250
naked bike makes 30hp stock,33 tuned.
V Twin engine! 249cc!
its good power, light weight too!
Allthough that tune is moderate, some one pushed vtr 250 to 35Hp
and thats Pushing its limits amn beyond.
even at stock it good fun, and tuned its just more fun (moah accuracy on throttle, acceleration etc)
If that 350rr version comes out here in the states with that awesome new Honda design. I gots to get it.
I'm going from a 600 back to a 300.yes the sound and looks are great but I don't need to go over 100 mph
Same as my 650, I'm in 6th gear and I overtake a car just to find myself in jail time speeds! I won't sell my 650's but I'd love to have this new Honda so I can grab it by the neck and not worry!!

new cbr 1000cc as been redesigned looks ace
I have a 2015 Yamaha R3. I'd have rather gotten Honda but, the R3 was just a better purchase. Hearing that Honda may have a 350 coming makes me want to sell the R3 for that!
Honda need to start over with their 1000rr-600rr and come out with naked motorcycles that can compete with Yamaha fz models.
Are the newer CBR600RR models really that bad compared to its competitors??
anyone have any feedback?
"If honda"
CC, How do you feel about the Suzuki DR650s (or even the 650 dual sport class alone)? It's heavy; people say it's an old man's bike. It's also adored by many and awarded bike of the decade twice (I think).
Compared to a 200cc dual sport, the DR650S is capable highway use and if ridden well can dominate off road
If I ever got one I'd do some scrambler mods and try to lighten her up while adding HP
Too heavy for my taste...
well you're not wrong, america market would be 300~350 cc, you guys would probably receive later than us in SEA region, the 250cc market here is selling like hot cake, but there is a rumor that suzuki might make an inline 4 for the 250cc market, but then its just a rumor we have to wait and see
I love my cbr300r and I normally ride with 600cc and 1000cc bikes. yeah they kick my ass on the freeways but just group rides it's fine.
Gary Busey was an idiot who didn't wear a helmet and he learned the hard way.
Great info bro. Keep it up!
If the CBR250rr was in the U.S I would have bought it no doubt. That shit looks clean.
Im so sad this didnt make the u.s market the cbr 250 rr body is drool worthy, but i hear its comming out on 2018 with a 350 cc engine
Most of these higher cc bikes are from from track related performance.#keepumcoming#myopinion
looks like everytime honda come out with something Yamaha answer back I saw a picture of a 2017 r6 that looks like the r1
I’m loving my 2017 300r but I do wish it was a 350 or at least a true 300. I feel bad for it when I’m on the highway on my way to the twisty roads.
The reason is we have no market for it here in the USA. And they are slow for the speed we travel here.
ninja 300 does 170 kmh. Rest of the world doesnt have tiny penis syndrome considering they ride a LOT more than we do.
Lol I couldn't help but wait for a deer to step out on you. Where I live, it's very very possible. As much as you were carrying on with your hands off the bars, I was like "man this dude is just asking for it" lol
Much appreciated brother you inspired me to do my own bugges out van god bless
the prove that a small bike can keep with a 1000, there is a guy called schaaf, with a cb500, really getting close a Z1000SX, in straight lines the kawa just runs far away, but in the corners he keeps up, the video is called DAVID vs. GOLIATH - Z1000SX & CB500 and its impresive how a 50~hp bike can handle the z1000
do a comparison between a 2017 yamaha ysf r3 and a 2017 honda cbr250rr. much appreciated! thanks!
It's actually EURO 5 standard in EU. We're getting EURO 6
There has been news of cbr250rr not coming to India, damn, a market where they could score so easily.
At least it looks good.
maaan, i want that 350cc bike from honda! definitely getting one if they make one for the US!!!!
Do they?
2 stroke machine are the real speed demon. Check out Aprillia RS250 if you can still find one. Sorry but I'm old school ;) If the 250RR is really good, maybe I should get one, just for the looks alone. Its a killer looking machine old school or not haha
Then the Current Fireblade will be discounted even more. Knowing Honda, the retail price will be high for their new bikes.
I'm confused. The 250 isn't being released in the US or the 1000rr? Or both?
Hey cyclecruza
great video bro
curious to see the model coming to the united states
Ride safe bro,,liked ( thumbs up )
I really think honda will pull through and bring the 350cc version to the U.S they got a real winner here with this bike. If they just keep everything the same but larger engine it will sell like hot cakes.
I hope so I think it would be awesome
Good vids bro ✊🏾helps me with my decision
Seems like Honda got so wrapped up in the African Twin they forgot about the rest.
Hopefully they come out with a new 600
6:09 BOYAKASHA OLD CBR 250RR!! Thanks Cycle Cruza, Although I have the CBR 400 1990
It's not releasing in India as well. We don't even have the 300r. It sucks.
