Our resident physiotherapist, Manni Ovola is back to take you through a really simple follow-along session to do before every run.
Try and weave this into your schedule if you can - it won’t take long, but could save you a lot of time sitting out on the sidelines! It’s called ‘prehab’!

This is an amazing warm-up. Primes all the right muscles, and I definitely feel a difference in my runs.

Thanks for the warm up video, I've been doing it before my runs lately. So far so good :)
Once I discovered dynamic warm ups, I no longer hate the first mile! But I'm often crunched for time, so anything more than 5 minutes is hard to squeeze in for warm ups or cool downs. This is perfect, and I appreciate you breaking down the skips... I'm not very coordinated, so I always avoided those!

Thank you very much for a great video. I don't warm up before running So I had a muscle spasm, but the warm-up is very important
My warm up exercises take me about 20 minutes and then I walk quickly to my run start point. Since I started doing this when I came back to running less than 2 years ago I have not suffered any sort of injury at all. I hope that I have not jinxed myself ...

This was great. Always watch the channel but the time taken to carefully explain each step was great. Everyone can follow along on the first run of the video. I will be using this today as part of my warm up. I hope to see more videos from Manni as he is fantastic. Thank you and keep it up!
i finally did it after months of just stretching, i actually did the warm up exercises XD

Quality details. To all people reading this, this guy clearly is pretty advanced, if u start to run after ur twenties or you not in good shape, ur warm up should take longer, starting with just a walk. He for sure make his warm ups longer to with more movements activation.
My usual warm-up is grimacing through the first 2k.... Will be a good runner and try this tomorrow though!

I’m guilty of this it sucks
I did Taekwondo for 2 years and yes, we do some of these warm-up everyday. It really makes you lighter on your feet.

Going to use this in my ultra warm up too, looking for something that will stop my first 20% of a run feeling sluggish.
It worked. 7th MV40 and 28th overall!
Already been warming up with leg swings, lunges, etc, that I got off you guys a while back, now I'll be adding some A and B skips in the mix, thanks Manni, cheers Enzo.

Manni always seems so chill 😁. I always do something simulair but the B Skip just reminded me a bit of Can Can dancing must try that and make my neighbors laugh when I go for a run......

Want to level this up a bit? Try alternating the A Skip and the B Skip, going A-B on one side and then A-B on the other. If you can, for extra motivation, it helps to have Offenbach's Can Can playing in the background while you do this.
