Thank you Dr. Dray. I’ve taken MSM both pill form as well as skin lotions and shampoos. I’ve never noticed any change with regards to acne, but I do notice skin improvement. My skin is brighter and visible looks softer (like a child's skin). I also notice improvement in my nails and as you mentioned in my joints. I just find I have better movement overall. I used a MSM/magnesium cream by Natural Vitality (no odor). I’ve used MSM shampoo and noticed my hair was shinier and seemed fuller. I’ve used a face cream with MSM - same thing softer skin. Hope this helps

For comparison: Age 28, acne prone, dry skin
I have been using the MSM cream you listed for over 2 years now and it is my favorite number one moisturizer to apply when my skin is super sensitive and dry. It gives me amazing results as a mosturizer and I prefer to apply overnight as a recovery cream. A little pea size goes a long way. For those wondering, no, this has not clogged my pores.
Another reference I have is my mom. She had some bad side effects to a long term antibiotic treatment (1.2 years) and had very dry, itchy skin on her face/arms. She tried a bunch of different creams suggested by her dermatologist but the itchiness persisted and it was resulting in scabbing. I noted the itchiness might be due to overly dry skin (like I have sometimes) and suggested my emergency to go skin recovery: rinse face only with water and use MSM cream (the same listed here). It was her little miracle and what fixed her problem for good.
That being said, does this work for anything else other than to moisturize skin? hmmm I don't have any way to measure that but visually, I can't see any difference.

If you're just starting out taking msm (I started two weeks ago and already my skin is feeling softer) make sure to start slow. Whatever the dosage instructions may say, for example 1/2 tsp twice per day, instead of jumping straight in, take 1/8 of a tsp once per day for a week then slowly increase the dose over a month until your body has become used to the msm. This helps decrease detox symptoms and stomach cramps which can prevent people from continuing to take msm and reap the benefits. Just go slow and you should be fine. Don't give up, both my husband and myself are already seeing improvements in skin texture. Good luck and good health to whoever ready this 🥰

My sister also takes 5g powder mixed with 2g powder of vitamin c and she’s got before and after photos of how it’s drastically improved her fine lines. It has also given me an overall glow.
The best supplement I’ve taken and I’ve tried so many supplements! It’s also super affordable. I would recommend getting it in powered form rather than tablet form to ensure it absorbs faster and fully. You’ll get best outcome with powder than tablet. It’s just got a bitter taste but you get used to it. I mix it with water and just down it quickly each morning.

I have been using MSM cream for a quite a while now. I used the one from MRM. That one has essential oils though, namely grapefruit extract (Citricidal). But as for me, my skin has no problems tolerating such, so I guess its okay. One thing I have noticed with using MSM is that it appears to control my sebum a whole lot. My face tends to be an oil slick. Having said that, I guess drying my skin a bit helps, kinda like how Adapalene dries my skin a bit. Just a bit. If you have dry skin, MSM may dry your skin. I usually use aloe vera gel to alleviate the dryness. I tend to pick and tend to scar as well. It's a bad habit. But I noticed too that irritation including wounds from picking don't develop so much scar. In fact, as a keloid former, my scars hardly turn purple or dark.

Love MSM, I use it for topical pain relief. If you buy it as a powder you can make a solution with warm water as a soak. I’ve soaked feel, achy hands and muscles. If I stub a toe it will stop the pain of that right away. Great stuff for elder pets too. They make an MSM specifically for pets.

MSM taken orally personally causes me to develop cystic acne. I’ve made at least 3-4 attempts on and off with the same exact results... they start cropping up soon after. However, if you can get away it’s an interesting ingredient because in the beginning it would cause my skin to be more even toned and glowy (which is why I made several attempts!). Alas, it did not work for me orally. However, I do use it topically in my DIY face mask and I do believe it adds a boost of skin softening properties to whatever mask I choose to wear. Is it dramatic? No...But enough that I toss MSM flakes into most of the masks I make and have been doing so for years.

Also I think ancestral supplements sells bone marrow and bovine tracheal cartilage and that helps joints too. 👌

MSM is one of my favorite supplements of all time. I have taken high doses anytime I ever need to heal a cut, wound, breakout or scar - and it is MAGICAL. Anyone considering taking it newly, of course see how you feel with lower doses first, but there isn’t really a known toxic value actually (it’s almost like water that way, the “lethal dose 50” or LD 50 is absurdly high and comparable to that of water). So you could take 10,000mg / day or more if you have no negative sensitivity to it or don’t experience negative digestive or other side effects, and you can see changes in wound healing within hours or days. The supplement is great for short periods where you need to clear skin inflammation, in my experience.
I also use a moisturizer with this ingredient and my skin loves it.
I suspect research in the coming years will continue to find more impressive details about its healing properties.

So I have been using Truskin vitamin C the orange one not the super one and that has MSM in it…. I can honestly say that it works sooooo freakin good. I still can’t believe it. First off I had theeeee absolute WORST acne like major big ol bumps on my cheeks and scarring and everything that comes with acne. And I used to pick at my skin a lot when I was younger so my skin was all kinds of messed up. But I started using this October 20 so going on maybe 7 weeks and all ky acne is gone!!! Gone gone gone. When I feel a bump coming I put this on and the next day gone. I still can’t believe it. I’ve used everything!!!!!!!!! Honestly they been going away like 4-5 days after I started but my right cheek still had a few but now all gone. And like I said I messed my skin up… I used to exfoliate my face everyday sometimes til it would bleed and just put a whole bunch of crap on my face so around my mouth has these ugly fine fine wrinkles but when I talk or smile u can see them so good and that’s also going away. And my face looks 100x brighter than ever before. I spend all my money on retinols like a lot of money. I just bought Khiels, Perricone MD and Strivectin retinol and this has nothing on all of them. That’s how fast it was and how major the transformation is. I’m still in disbelief. So if anyone has acne and scarring plz try TruSkin vitamin C the orange bottle. I used the super but it’s nothing like the regular one. Also their retinol but it was making me break out so I stopped. Give it 6-8 wks!!! I promise you, you’ll see a huge difference!

I have a very advanced case of Interstitial Cystitis. I also have Addison's disease. Years ago I had bladder instill treatments of DMSO, but it was not successful. Since that time, I have had surgery on my pudendal nerve, which was tangled up with my pelvic ligaments causing severe pelvic pain (surgery developed in France and there are only a few doctors in the US that do it- I had mine done in Houston😊) So I believe this product may be able to help me with bladder inflamation. Did you try different manufacturers? Most of it comes from China and some will contain impurities that can affect you negatively. For example I used to get horrible nightmares from one brand. Switching to another made them go away, switching back made them return.
I’ve found OptiMSM to be a safe choice in regards to purity. But it might also be that MSM causes something else in your body that affects your anxiety level.
Regarding alcohol it’s a common “issue”. But it’s actually a sign that the MSM is doing it’s job well with your metabolic system.
