How fortunate are we all, to have the beautiful Dr. Dray to help us all?
She doesn’t have to spend her free-time imparting advice. She’s helped me to literally overturn my entire facial and body skincare. Particularly my body, where my skin was flaking off, and nothing I applied would help it. CeraVe has restored and plumped my skin.
Thank you Dr. Dray, you’re amazing. ❤️

I have Rosacea with very fair sensitive skin ( dubbed by one dermatoligist as "bad Irish skin) and use Sulfacetamide along with Finacea and Doxycycline. That combination is effective but can be very expensive. If there are OTC products to use and I can save some money, it is helpful to know what those products are and where to buy them. I have purchased from iherb at your recommendation and have bern happy with iherb.

I tried both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide for my acne, but neither of those worked on me:( My mom bought me the De La Cruz Sulfur Oinment that she found in the Mexican market, and I tried it thinking it wasn't going to do anything. But after using the entire tub I realized that my skin improved tremendously! After getting knowledgeable about skin conditions, I realized that I had fungal acne which is why sulfur really worked well for me.

Eradikate is a hero product for me despite some dryness which I can live with. A few years back I had tried every thing short of seeing a derm and getting an Rx for hormonal cystic acne on my chin pre-period. I was so miserable and desperate. I found a random review that suggested it was useful for cystic spots so I tried it. It doesn’t just get rid of it ASAP (never that simple) but it stops the cysts in their tracks and gets rid of them SO much faster than they go away on their own. I may try the first product you suggested to see if it helps

Hi, I use hard soap with sulfur to wash my face, twice a day. It leaves my skin soft and is effective in keeping acne away. It has a small tingling sensation, but a kind of a good "Hi, I'm working" sensation. It feels drying sometimes, but I use a moisturiser afterwards, so it's ok. In Europe, it is sold in drug stores only, for around 5 Eur.

I use it as a low-impact exfoliant by mixing a half-pea of Dela Cruz 10% ointment with a quarter size of 20% urea cream. It has been great for rosacea including my ocular rosacea. Two nights a week is plenty, don't overdo it. Hydrate with glycerine or HA toner then moisturise with oat moisturiser the next day.

After dealing with closed comedones / whiteheads or fungal acne for about 3 years. I have spent so much money and time on products bha, aha, benzoyl-peroxide and nothing worked but after a few days with the del la cruz, my skin is actually getting better. I just can't believe it. I was so close to getting a chemical peel because I just thought nothing would work for me. If your skin doesn't like benzoyl-peroxide, bha or aha give sulfur a go

Sulfur works way better for me than benzoyl peroxide, which not only didn't help, but irritated my skin. Highly recommend the Eradikate cleanser, unfortunately it's expensive, but it was the first cleanser I actually had make a difference in my acne. • @Redh3adElizabeth
      @Redh3adElizabeth 6 лет назад

Prescription Sulfacleanse is like $100-$150 cash on GoodRx (site where you can get discounts on prescriptions). I pay less though cause of my insurance. My first bottle lasted me about 3 months but I was using it on my body sometimes too. Recently started my second bottle hoping it lasts 4 months if I keep it to just my face and use cheaper, over the counter products on my body acne, which isn't quite as stubborn as my facial acne.

A few years ago when I was diagnosed with acne rosacea, I looked like a monster. In fact, I thought I had lupus - as the afflicted area had that butterfly shape associated with lupus.
In addition to Minocycline, I was prescribed AVAR (which I am now surprised has only 2% sulfur.) I also used Soolantra 1%. It took about three months for me to feel comfortable stepping out in public. These products saved my skin.
I’m at the point where I feel my rosacea is under control, at least for now. I would most likely benefit from a laser treatment. However, my insurance doesn’t cover such procedures.

Before I started watching your videos, I couldn't figure out why every moisturizer I tried was making my face sting and itch, why sunblock was burning my eyes, and why exfoliating my face wasn't improving the appearance of dry patches on my red cheeks. @@annieemason I get the bumps, so it mostly cures the bumps for me and transcendental to that the redness because my bumps are gone. Give it a try though, it's not expensive. Another tip is to wash your face with a anti dandruff shampoo during flares, they are made to treat the yeast that cause dandruff which is the same yeast that causes Rosecea. For the appearance of redness, I use a green tinted moisturizer from Eucerine (alternatively there are green tinted primers that also work) and It Cosmetics CC Creme, these just help cosmetically.

My dermatologist here in Omaha told me I have hormonal acne by looking at me for like 5 seconds. Not saying that's bad or anything...just made me skeptical. She put me on an oral antibiotic for the first 2 months (can't remember which one) along with tretinoin gel and spironolactone. (I'm also an RN so I kinda know what everything is that I'm taking.) Currently, we switched and I'm on clindamycin gel, spironolactone 150mg/day, and when I feel like I have little breakouts on my forehead from sweating during the summer here I use a special soap only on my forehead. But really I use that special soap every day on my whole face bc I feel like it's made my face look better. That special soap you ask? DermaHarmony 10% Sulfur 3% Salicylic Acid Bar Soap 3.7 oz. (bought on Amazon for $11 for 2 bars of soap). Oh, and my skin (body) is super dry, so she had me switch my body wash too...which I also bought on Amazon. I now am super loyal and use Dove DermaSeries Dry Skin Relief Fragrance-Free Body Wash, 15.8 oz. (for $8.27 right now on Amazon). It's really good stuff, but my body is still really itchy and dry. I itch all day long and can see areas on my body (arms, feet right now) that are covered in a layer of white patchy skin that needs to get scratched off bc it's just all dead skin sitting there. And it's itchy!! All the cream and lotion in the world won't help this itch. I dry brush. I even do it in both directions. I usually end up with piles of dead skin when I'm done. It's gross. Everyone has issues of some sort I suppose!

Make sure to keep them moisturized preferably after the shower while there damp put on a nice thick cream☺️
Look for body moisturizers with vitamin c or b3 (niacinimide)
You could also use a hydroquinone cream such as porcelana or nadiola on the affected areas just make sure to use sunscreen in the day time☺️
If you do not like hydroquinone then the ordrinary have a number of vitamin c creams and powders(you can mix into a normal body lotion)
They also have an alpha-arbutin serum that can halt pigment as well.
(I'm a licensed aesthetician in saying all this just for some credential confidence)
      Hope this helps good luck!🖖🏻☺️
