The fact that Bill didn’t even give a direct answer to the question on how he thought Timberlake played, tells you the level of frustration he was feeling with Nick’s defensive liability. Not to mention his struggle all year to hit shots.
Thanks to the Phog... Not a pretty game. I was glad to see Nick hit some shots and make some hustle plays, but I don't know what he was thinking on defense late. Hunter was unbelievably bad around the rim scoring today, but had some great positioning on defense. Actually the best I've seen him play D this season. I gotta be honest. Baylor lost this game. We didn't win it. It happens. They are really good and were just flat today. We weren't that much better, offensively. But a W is a W. But we dodged one here.
There is something wrong with this team. Watch DaJuan at the end looking for ppls hands to high five and celebrate with. There was no one. No one was happy. And DaJuan was mad. Is there internal fighting going on. Are players mad that others players are playing over others. Idk man but this team infuriates me! By far the most head scratching team we have had in awhile. Plus Bill's presser was not pretty! He is mad! Like really mad
@@Noahbarkley-vq3efwaun and Kevin is our issue. They like to bring a stat up where when waun scores 10 or more we are 19-0 he’s a junior and only 19 games he’s scored 10 points. Hes putting juco numbers up. Kevin is weak, cries at every little thing, and we have no one executing off of everyone double and triple teaming hunter. Honest to god I think nick and elmarko need to start. Elmarko is a dog, and nick hustles over time he will be a strong asset he hasn’t had enough time to get comfortable he’s looking at 6 min a game

@@ethandieker5349 Honestly Idk if Nick is gonna play anymore this yr. Bill was so mad at him after the game. Him and El Marko were guarding the same guy on the last play. No one switched the ball screen at the end of the game. That was on Nick. I do agree with you about El marko tho. He is beginning to turn a corner
@@ethandieker5349 i have said this the whole yr and I'm gonna stick with it. I feel like the best starting 5 is Juan at the 1, El Marko at the 2, Johnny at the 3, Kevin at the 4, and Hunt at the 5. Better spacing. KJ and Hunt just isn't working in my opinion
