Motivation is garbage whether you have the motivation to work on yourself or not you DO IT. Discipline is for the strong, the people who don't need to be motivated to do what they NEED to do to better themselves. Don't tell yourself you need motivation it's a bad habit. I recommend you tell yourself whether you are motivated or not you will be the best version of yourself.

I swear to god, I've suffered from depression all my life.
Struggle in school a lot, pushed people away when they tried to help me, and generally act like a dumbass because "I WAS SO COOL AND AHEAD OF EVERYONE ELSE." And now I'm a high school dropout who lives with his mom.
But this video says everything I needed to here, I listen to this every work day as I work out and my life and mood has been improving a great amount.

Even in the past I wanted to be like Vegeta, he was always working on himself and always proving he can get stronger by determination and pride, I've recently just started using these in my work ethic and I honestly feel like I can move a mountain.

@ahmadtarekfarouk1 the way I interpreted it was on average most people have that "I want to die" or "I wish I was dead" moment. What hes sayin is let that VERSION of you do it. That way a newer better version of you can grow. If the younger version of yourself isn't allowing you to reach your goals. Maybe it's time it takes a long slumber.

This is DOPE! This hit me so hard. I've been grinding, but part of me fears failure. I realized Vegeta failed many times. He is the epitome of true resilience.
I've been struggling for so many years dealing with my anxiety/depression due to humiliation, betrayal and heart broken especially when they keep comparing you to another person 😔.But thanks to Vegeta I know my worth now, that I must uphold my pride like it's everything and never forget who I am and what I stand for. I'll keep the grind and keep moving forward.
Sat at the edge of my bed, pistol in my hand. My life fell apart and hit rock bottom. Lost my family because of my addictions and childhood trauma., I was 245 pounds unhealthy. Now I'm a blue belt in jujitsu, hit the gym daily to be a better fighter. I read and practice stoicism. After beating my addictions and vices, everything started fixing itself, my wife saw the difference and came home to me. I've given myself to the mats. Every day I improve at being a stoic. I've learned to let the past go. If I can I do it, anybody can. Just keep moving forward.
In case you havent read it, buy "the practicing stoic"....best book on that topic I think. And well done on your journey. Glad you´re still with us. Keep the fight up!

Will watch this on a weekly basis. We all need reminders from time to time in life to keep us going.
One method I find particularly helpful is this:
Always see discipline as this black-and-white thing.
If you are doing something and your mind wants to distract you, ask yourself : Am I DISCIPLINED or NOT? Either YES or NO. There is no GRAY AREA.
Either YOU ARE DISCIPLINED or YOU ARE NOT DISCIPLINED. You cannot tell yourself "oh only 5 minutes" or "oh just once".
Like this I manage to keep myself focused

Good speech. Other than “depression is an illusion” this was solid and rings true.
Depression isn't an illusion but the things that you may tell yourself while feeling depression are, in my personal opinion. We are not as bad as we tell ourselves we are. I think self hate is technically the illusion and depression is simply the thing that creates that illusion. Andrew Tate oversimplified it and so people are misunderstanding what he is meaning. I have bipolar disorder so I'm not trying to be insensitive, I just understand what he is talking about from a first person point of view.
Other than "quit video games" that is. This guy really thinks he's all that because he used Vegeta voice. It's scientifically proven that a gamer mind is above that of average people who do not improve their minds. Him including the part about video games further proves that.
If the only thing you can do is quit, then you have no control over self. It's called moderation and you don't have to quit something that's actually scientifically good for you. Just because some fools who don't understand stuff about them think they know all that doesn't mean they are right. Can this guy quit social media, which is actually harmful?

Believing in oneself and working hard is a good advice. Altough true depression is a desease and should be treated before doing anything else. It's like trying to run having a 20kg backpack on your back. It's not something what you can beat with positive thinking.
Self improvement starts with not knowing what matters the most to you. To your core and letting nothing get in your way to embrace it and make it part of your life.

I needed this I've been a caretaker for my grandmother for 10 years and I know eventually she is gonna pass and I was always worried about what I would do after she passed and I know it's gonna hit me hard but after hearing this even after she passes I'm still gonna help more people and I'm gonna become a caretaker or should I say I'm gonna keep being a caretaker to someone else when she passes it was either that or become an IT technician one of them I can't do because I take care of my grandmother and even if I could it's not like it would help anybody but taking care of somebody and extending their life because of me helping them I think it's far better than be coming a IT technician it's something I could be proud of and there's certain things that I'm weak too but after hearing this I know I need to get strong strong enough that I can take those things head on and them not bothering me anymore so I could be the best caretaker I know I can be I already have 10 years of experience I'm sure I'll be fine I posted this video on my discord so all my followers can see this this is a really good video and you earn yourself a subscription as well.
