Was looking for a way to make ring holders for the jewelry boxes I make in my woodworking shop. This method seems to be the easiest and still very attractive and adaptable. Thanks for the help.
Thank you so much!! I make jewelry as a hobby and want to sell it, but had no good way to display it. Now I do!
How perfect! I have an old jewelery box my brothers gave me when I was a kid and no real way to display my rings. This way I can make my own insert in the box. Thank you so much!
That's so sweet of your brothers! This project would be a great way to showcase your rings. Let us know how it turns out!

I have an antique store and looking for a creative way to display rings, this is so cute and I have everything already to make these. Thanks so much!

I was just about to order something from Amazon but I love DIY projects
I make mine out of the foam hair curlers and glue felt onto them. They have a great memory for holding their shape and are cheap at about $3 for 6 and I can make 18 ring rolls out of a pack od 6 using one piece of 200 x 300 mm felt. To stiffen them up, if needed, you can insert a 3mm timber dowel into the hole of the hair curler but I find once you have applied the felt and placed them into the compartment of the jewelery box, as a tight fit, they are quite firm and hold rings and cufflinks very well :)
Thanks dollar tree has foam hair rollers
@@karenalexander2446 If I could post a piccie I would. Simple and very fast to do. Plus a whole lot cheaper than using a lot of felt to make them. :)
nice work. u can also use old clothes instead to make each roll bulk and then use only a enough "expensive" fabric (velvet for example) to cover each roll.
That's a great idea! Thanks so much for watching our video
Thanks for the tutorial. It was nice, to the point, easy to follow.

I was going to order a display for the rings I've found metal detecting but I like this much better.

That's real nice , couldn't you put the stand from the frame on the back & display it.
I really like the idea of putting a stand on the back for displaying purposes! Thanks so much for sharing with us, +D Short!
thinking the same thing ,,you can stand it up and display the rings.....
I was thinking the same thing . I've also seen ring displays made high heeled shoes .....super cute !
Hey, each row a different color felt.
That would be a great idea!
Felt is kinda spendy, is there another fabric I could use instead? Maybe a flannel sheet?
You can get felt at the dollar tree
ruclips.net/video/Zs_o7oAPck4/видео.html is the newspaper one. It's after all the rings she made. Simple.
Any fabric could work well. I am going to use tapestry fabric that was donated to me.
Super.
can they be rolled the other way for a longer orientation? trying to make one in a small vanity drawer.
Of course! Either way will work if you have the felt sheets that are wide enough!
what fabric did you use?
We actually used felt sheets! You can find all that we have to offer here: factorydirectcraft.com/catalog/categories/1302_2533_2162-felt-1.html Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Does it have to be felt or could it be something else?
You could definitely use any material, as long as it's thick enough to hold its shape and squeeze the rings when they're in it!
Can i use needle pin felt sheet?
Thicker needle pin felt should work fine, it just may require less rolling!
Does this do well hanging on the wall?
You could certainly hang it on the wall! I'd just make sure that there is enough tension on the rings to ensure a tight hold. The last thing you want is to have them falling out!
If i dont have felt maybe pc thin carpet
Hi, I used some thin carpet like you said and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the idea ! 😊
I crochet and I thought this would make a good crochet hook holder.
That's a great idea, Barb! We would love to see your finished project. Please feel free to share it on our Facebook page (facebook.com/factorydirectcraft)
Horrible.... horrible
