Again, Trinny has slammed down the "don't wear print on prints"! The last outfit made her look like really really OLD MONEY, and Fabulous! So glad it's replicable. Loved the chequered outfit too. Thanks for all the free wardrobe advice you keep giving. Even my younger sisters have noticed the change in my style.

Frankly, with pattern mixing I worry about looking like I dressed in the dark😖. So many ppl experiment with print clash, but end up more hobo chic over elevated elegance.

I have an expansive wardrobe and have been giving things away for about 2 years (I am your age). Now i feel bad i got rid of some because everyday I learn to redo my outfits using your suggestions. Everybody loves my new found out wardrobe and i feel fantastic. Thank you Trinny. I am your forever student.
Trinny, you're a genius. That check suit, I thought hmmm, not sure, and then you moved the belt buckle to the side ! Transformed!!! Long fitted leopard coat jacket, slightly open with a belt over black trousers...super chic. I so need to expand my belt collection, mine are so boring and fit only for a pair of jeans. But I don't know how you find them...I never see them on the high street - maybe it's a lack of London living thing, but I can never find them on line either. Thank you for sharing your brilliant eye and years of experience with us, and for encouraging us to look at our wardrobe differently. Tho as I approach 60 (59 in Feb and very happy to be older but...) I feel I want to throw out my entire wardrobe and start again from scratch! I'm sure I could do this by shopping my own closet(s -lol) but seems daunting ie. scared of making mistakes (which is ridiculous! It's hardly solving the world's problems!) What I love about Trinny is that she utilises items she's had for years and makes them look fresh. Admittedly I don't have such high end/designer pieces ( not many of us do, I'm sure) but it's by no means all rubbish or a dead loss. I think part of it is deciding what you want to achieve now one is older and having the confidence to let go of quite a lot of one's wardrobe becuase it no longer suits ones life/post menopausal shape (still 12 - 14 hourglass but weight sitting differently now - lower tum, bigger (well more kind of spread out!) boobs). I think it's a cost issue too - I don't want to throw out colours that suit me but the fit is no longer good on me but I don't want to end up with a joyless, neutral closet. Ho -hum. The black check Joseph with the check coat was so good I shouted! The silver polo with the Dreis almost as good! How prescient is the maroon cashmere after the Royal Family all wore it Thursday! With the neon? Genius! Are you sure this wasn’t the ageless cool segment? Get the lining out of the Dreis sleeves for sure! Sounds like an Azusanna show coming up!
I am on a closet confessions binge. Reason being that I was reacquainted with Trinny around 4 years ago or more and I started taking in the tips as an early 50s viewer who loves clothes. It really is all in the detail, and I've learned how to make things that bit more modern/contemporary/flattering - neck lines, trouser length, footwear etc. To some, being concerned about how your look/dress is frivolous, and I get it, but feeling good about what you wear (not for attention, but to feel put together) can help to lift your mood. I don't want compliments from anyone but myself - I love clothes, and finding this channel and others who know how to put things together has also been more sustainable as I can re-work the wardrobe.

I like Trinny's accent
military surplus (and online retailers) have these fabulous little elastic bands that are just right to keep that pant tuck so if you want the look of the cuff of an airborne ranger, but you can't tuck it in to your high top platform sneakers or stretch boot because it's too tight (I have muscular calves so it's tight for me) these bands just go over the sock, then you tuck the hem of the pant under the elastic from the bottom. Hard to explain, super easy to do.
I do that same thing with my trousers tucking them in socks (balloon look), "great minds think alike" haha. Love that scarf! 🌞

Moving the buckle to the side is another genius move! 👏 I got myself a neon yellow sweater to test it out cause I've never done neon yellow and Trinny made me feel like going for it 💛

I've always found it difficult to replicate the tops with crew neck or high neck or long wide legs because my neck and legs are short. should I stick with v-neck and straight leg trousers? I love your channel!!!

Yesterday I popped in to Fenwicks on Bond Street to look round the menswear in the basement.On the way out to my left your concession had more activity than all the other concessions combined but the one thing that stood out was the upbeat energy of your team in comparison to the sour faced,sneering over made up women on the other concessions
