Thanks! Oh absolutely they are. The new blades are much more solid than the original blades that are nothing more than wood fibers mashed together & wrapped with decorative coating
Phase one restoration process on the Kiev? Really nice! Now it wobbles a lot less! Though, this still looks like it needs a new capacitor, light kit, etc. This is still a really great job how you can make such an old and beaten fan look good as new!
Thanks! The capacitor in this thing is a bit weird, so I think Imma let it stay as it is, plus I don’t want to force the motor to spin faster than it is right now, as it’s actually quite a bit overloaded with these new blades. I’ve since shaved down the thickness of the fan blades, and the RPM has improved. I’ve also set my sights on what kind of light kit this fan will get, so stay tuned!
I am curious if you have ever tried putting longer blades on a fan.. I am thinking about doing this to increase volume of air flow in a garage. If I have a 52" fan and put blades to make it 80", will this stress the motor? Curious if you have ever dones that kind of stuff.
It will stress the motor. If your celing fan use wooden blades, you can try making new blades out of 1mm aluminum sheet. that way the overall weight of each blade is lighter, allowing you to extend the length of each blade to about 60”
What is this crappy ceiling fan, the blades are different and it already has the fan chain and but what happened to the light, give me an answer and a heart please
This is the same fan from that other video you also commented on. The blades on it are handmade, and I didn't bother installing the light kit for this video
If this fan in 44", the model of the fan will be CF-145/MCF44-204-WH. Terjemahan : Kalo kipas angin dengan baling² berukuran 44", nomor model kipas ini akan CF-135/MCF44-203-WH Mantap juga baling²nya.
RUclips has this feature where users can translate comments in foreign languages into the language they speak, so there’s honestly no need for you to provide comments in 2 languages. About the model number, I myself call this fan simply as an “Uchida Kiev”, because that’s how I come to know this fan. I’m not a person who enjoys remembering every single model code on my electric fans
Yes i know if RUclips has translaton feature in here. Unfortunately the translation is not as good as the actual translation, cuz they using a "Literally" Translation instead of Normal Translation. The problem is that, when they translation the word like : "Fan" and it will translated as "Penggemar" instead of "Kipas". I'm really confused why the Brass version of "Kiev" is called "Econ" even they shared same design?
Amazing! They look like hand-crafted ones!
Thanks!
No problem!
Good job on making the homemade blade!
Thanks!
@@TheFanUniverse welcome
That looks like a high powered ceiling fan, brother!😮
Damn they look great. They are probably better quality then the original blades

It looks like an old 1930s Emerson from the USA! It seems to run very well and is very quiet.
Bagus juga baling2 barunya
Terimakasih

Lumayan kenceng gak anginnya ya?
Untuk kipas seperti ini, yah kurang lebih standar anginnya

@TheFanUniverse can you make a video about how it currently looks
gimana cara buatnya?
Tinggal potong triplek, amplas sampai halus, & bor lubang buat sekrupnya..
你用的馬達什麼是舊馬達
Keren kreatif hehe
Yoi
Jadi bagus kipasnya
Nanti hasil jadinya bakal lebih bagus lagi koq hehehe
Look at the stock blades

Paint it white
I don’t think bright white looks good. I’m most probably gonna go with ivory
Ok
