Rafael Stone did a great job negotiating both contracts. I believe Green takes a big step forward this year a lot of people hating on the guy but the last month of last season and this preseason he has looked like the Rockets best player and one of the best in the NBA
I really liked how Houston appreciated Alperen's dedication to the game and his team, even everything went bad most of the times. He was able to be spectacular and devoted to the team at the same time. I also like Houston commentators, how they support Alperen, i never forget Hollins trying to explain what Alperen is doing unique on the pitch and his excitement with Alperen's stunning performance puts on a fancy show overall. I am really excited for the next season but with a good shooter transfer.
Why do we need a 1a? We can have a night for night 1a depending the match up. You wanna go to Al P just because? If Jalen or Amen or eventually Reed got it going against their particular match up they are the go to for that game.
I really don’t understand talking heads, why do you want to know who 1A is, is the team winning? is the team successful?? is the team improving ??? Those are the pertinent questions you should be looking to answer
Good takes, except Ben's silver lining "if you cap their minutes you have a better opportunity to keep this team together for the long haul" which sounds like a Morey move not a Stone move. I heard Amen talking about family feel in the locker room. I see the fatherlike figure of Udoka that engenders that and the last thing we need is Moreyball. Rudy and CD were that way and it's how you build something special.
Yea to me, on nights when Dillion has it going, he is still the clear top5 player to close the game for us. But Amen is already our top 5 player, so we really need to work our rotation so that he closes for us
We wont get Cam on a deal by keeping his minutes low.. another team gonna come in whether its a rebuilding team or expansion and they are gonna offer him some money with a actual opportunity for minutes probably as a starter.. I don’t expect Cam to stay here for his 2nd contract it’s just no way
I don't see why Cam would have low minutes? He's the guy with the highest energy on the team, can shoot 3's, is very athletic...you need that guy on the court.
Cam has a ways to go bro if we're being honest. Not saying he's going back to the GLeague but he's gotta fit better inside the offense and quit stopping the ball. And I LOVE Cam Whitmore.
