- What is the best RC car track in the UK .. We have raced on over 25 tracks since the start of the channel in 2020 and we plan to visit many more in 2024.

West Suffolk model car club was my track when I was stationed in the UK 2001 to 2007

sorry to hear you're not able to book into all the races you want, victims of your own success! you're doing great things for the hobby guys keep up the good work :) Hopefully i'll have a club in the south east for you to popalong to next year - me and a few friends have recently acquired an old outdoor track. We will be re-vamping it over winter and hope to open spring/summer

Got to use a smoke stopper I use them when I solder up a new racing quad it's a must have and easy to make or buy one.

@PopalongRC Joshua Bardwell has a great video on this and how to make your own if you can't find one to buy. I made my own and it's saved my esc and fc a few times.

I vowed to never touch my TT-01 again because of the pain in the arse it is to deal with the diff housings and how you have to take off or apart. But seeing people enjoy racing the trucks and the other series centred on the 01 chassis Ive seen on this channel, Im thinking more and more about reviving mine.

I did the opposite. Haven't touched a Tamiya anything since the late 90s
until 2 months ago when I built a Euro truck. Now I have a tt01 sedan, tt02r, and a m05 as well, and have hit 4 races so far. :) I find the TT01 to be pretty easy to mess with compared to 1/8 Ebuggys.
i was half expecting to see Miss Daisy at stevenage. i even had a scotch egg on standby in case the pair of you turned up!!

What is the best track in the South / South West of England to just turn up to and do practice runs? To get set up right and just have some fun. Not everybody wants to be under pressure with racing their cars or formally joining a club to run. Pay for a couple of hours track use and play would be great.
This… I’d like to be able to just turn up and have a practice. I’m not ready for racing yet, and this option would be great

Sometimes it's hard to believe you've only been going three years! Have a look at my old home town Kidderminster's RC club and my current home town's club here in Northampton. The club here in Npton meet weekly so they're pretty committed! I can't race my TT02 there, mind :D

As always awesome video guys! The ESC popper sucks, def don't rely on it for big races!!! At least it wasn't a $200 pro ESC.

i built a box art tamiya tt01 truck as my 3rd tamiya kit now ive got 10 rc's inclinding a 1/8 scale nitro and a nitro tmaxx

Yeah I would like to see that race. What u do is, u get Lee Martin to race but u make him drive from a spot where Noone can see him,then u pretend to be driving the car....

@@PopalongRC problem is you know his tactics etc. so you gotta put rules in to make it fair. He won’t take a race on even terms. Probably claim it’s too serious or some nonsense. It’s a shame. Would be interesting to watch on both yours and his platforms.
